Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
Seen Kessler posted a photo of it and not sure if he's chasing the fight or its in the words. Would love to see that but think bit earlier for Jnr

Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
I'm not sure Kessler has done enough to earn a shot at the prestigious IBO title, apparently the strap Eubank Jr holds was the last one that Woolworths sold before it closed down, ive heard rumours and I don't know if their true but Jr's belt may be worth up to as much as £12:60

Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
I would hate to see this
I actually think Junior is a good fighter, not a great, but good and very watchable. The Eubanks are a bit frustrating when it comes to matching people though. So many good fights slipping away and the whole IBO thing, calling out Badou jack, James degale, groves... the only time he stepped up he lost, to BJS, who doesn't massively impress me!
Rant over
Would hate to see an old past it Kessler take a pasting and then it's claimed juniors done a better job than Froch, ward or calzaghe

This isn't Kessler from 2008. Eubank has a good shot to beat Kessler.

BJS won a close fight its not like he dominated Eubank. Yes his words means nothing but doesn't mean he can't beat this version of Kessler.Oiky wrote:course it ain't the kessler from 2008world ranked wrote:This isn't Kessler from 2008. Eubank has a good shot to beat Kessler.

billyjoe would win again
he may beat this version of kessler but that proves nothing except he's afraid to mix it with all the names he has called out

Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
Kessler was on the decline 4 years ago, and given the extra years and inactivity I think Jr. would have a great chance of winning.

A glorified gym fighter doesn't fight on even level with a world champion. afraid and a boxer doesn't make sense together. You might not like him he's a world class fighter.Oiky wrote:billyjoe would win again

Err Saunders barely scraped the win last time against an inexperienced Eubank Jr, and has looked awful recently.
I''d make Eubank Jr a very slight favourite if they met again.
Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
jnr has called out many names
where are the press conferences, where are the weigh ins where are the fights?
nowhere, because he's afraid to follow through with his stupid talk
yeah anyone that steps in the ring has got courage, not trying to say jnr hasn't got courage, so why your saying afraid and boxer doesnt mix i don't know, i'm just stating facts that anyone dangerous jnr has called out he has not fought, this would be cos he's got no heart and no bottle.
white collar boxers step in the ring, they've got courage, but do they then go on to talk sh*t and challenge big names? no they dont't.
jnr needs to know his lane and in my personal opinion anyone that thinks he will ever be world/elite level is as deluded as he is
if jnr wanted saunders rematch so badlly he'd of pursued it
billy has offered him a rematch many times

Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
eubank jnr is too crude, lacks ring generalship, lacks timing, lacks precision, lacks many things to ever be called world class, so how anybody can regard him as World class at this stage is unreal

Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
The resume tells you if there world class. Skills doesn't tells the whole story. Ricardo Mayorga was world class or Orlando Salido resume tells the story.Oiky wrote:eubank jnr is too crude, lacks ring generalship, lacks timing, lacks precision, lacks many things to ever be called world class, so how anybody can regard him as World class at this stage is unreal
Is BJS not world class?
Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
ricardo mayorga was a proper fighting man that had limited training and there was no messing about with him, he was what he was, he reached the pinnacle of where he could get and he even admitted that himself. who knows where mayorga would've got to with better training? everyone knows mayorga done what he could with what he had.
is billyjoe world level? yes he is. dono what your getting at with all this but however close billyjoe-jnr was, jnr lacked whatever it was to make it his fight & he will always lack this
he won't cut it at world/elite level
he could fall a bit short, or massively short, it doesn't matter, he won't cut the mustard

How it won't cut it at world level when he fought a world level guy like you said and lost a close fight but he's no where near that level make no sense.Oiky wrote:ricardo mayorga was a proper fighting man that had limited training and there was no messing about with him, he was what he was, he reached the pinnacle of where he could get and he even admitted that himself. who knows where mayorga would've got to with better training? everyone knows mayorga done what he could with what he had.

You make excuses for way/how Mayorga became a world class guy but he was and Eubank has so much better skills but he can't be no where near world class. You named all things wrong with Eubank but guys like Mayorga and Salido and many other who lacked things but are world class and Eubanks not.

but are we forgetting that "world class" eubank had a chance to box and earn serious dough in a fight with Golovkin?
a "world class" fighting man such as the great eubank jnr would have jumped at the chance surely?
but no, he typed sh*t and empty talk behind his poxy twitter account, with no intentions of mixing it with GGG
could say its no better than what me and you are doing now, typing backward meaningless sh*t online
yeah eubank jnr got a few skills
proof will be when he takes these fights he talks about, but i doubt they will ever come,

We going around in circle's. If BJS is world class Eubank is too is my point. how is he world class? He beat a novice for a BS title, he's fought one world class fighter and he lost. Re: Eubank Jnr v Kessler?
He fought on even terms with the guy you claim is world class pretty simple. He wasn't outclassed in the ring he's the same talent level of BJS. Pretty simple. Yeah all the bums he fought guess what he didn't struggle with those another sign of a world class guy what did BJS do in his last fight almost lost to those same level guys Eubank dominated but BJS is world class again but Eubank isn't.Nightmare Roy wrote:how is he world class?
