"Ward says Kovalev’s promoter agreed to the judges"

What isn’t he complaining about?” said Ward in response to a media member saying that Kovalev is complaining about the judges for the rematch.

Did Kathy say that she signed off on those deals? Did you realize that she was the A-side for the first fight? I’m just giving you the facts. We’re on the A-side now,” said Ward in commenting on Duva asking for one of the three judges to be a non-American due all 3 of them being from the U.S for “The Rematch” between Ward and Kovalev on June 17 in Las Vegas.

We didn’t have any say going into the first fight. But they underestimated. When it doesn’t go their way, they got to find a scapegoat. They approved those judges. She signed off on it, so why is there an issue now,” said Ward.

We know for certain that Sergey Kovalev has previously engaged in at least TWENTY TWO bouts on US shores that used a trio of American judges to score each contest, which equates to 69% of the fights listed on his resume.

It’s impossible to refute that all of the Eastern European/Communist fighters promoted by Kathy Duva’s Main Events have all had multiple contests staged in America, where all the judges have been American.

Of course he tried to finish Ward in the same round, but couldn't. Maybe he was still too cautious. As he said, he over-thought the first fight.

That fight originally followed the scenario of the Hopkins one, so he made a mistake coasting like he did against Hopkins.
So he coasted and it had nothing to do with Ward?
Of course not its all Kovalev to do everything differently this time and it doesn't matter its another guy in the ring lol. :brick:[/quote]

Of course Ward's achievement is that he made it closer than Hopkins, and yes, I doubt that Ward can do better.

.

Ward has no where to go but up he lost to me clear. He has much more upside to improve than Kovalev. Kovalev isn't going to go the body he's never that. Other than Stamina I don't think he can improve.

If it was called experience he should have known it was going to be difficult to stop a guy who's never been, but it didn't stop him from calling the KO in the 1st fight. So according to Kovalev and his lovers he will make the right adjustment but Ward will stay the same come on now get real. We want to be so right all the time we only look at one side of the fight like Kovalev is the only guy in the fight.
so on this thread your saying that kovalev should have known what to do..

but in another thread you are saying billyjoe vs eubank jnr was so close that its silly to say billy joe even beat eubank jnr .. even going as far to say as eubank jnr is world class? why not in the other thread say "eubank jnr should have known to KO billy joe he said he would loads in the run up"

:shame: The threads has nothing to do with each other. One is about levels of fighters this thread is about Kovalev so called "new strategy" to this time KO Ward.
if you can't see the similarities between what you are saying in both threads then i can't be messed to try and hold a civil chat

your not a troll

but you are very ungrounded in all you say and i can't be messed with it

Just ask yourself a question: if Kovalev was an American born champion and Ward was a Russian challenger, would the challenger get a decision with a performance like that ? Would an American challenger get a decision against a local champion in England, Germany, Russia, Argentina with such performance?

NO F*CKING WAY !!!
