You watch the scores be a lot closer than they should.

Indongo won in 2nd gear.
Wouldn't be the biggest price to beat Crawford.
I'd imagine Crawford would get through and KO him at some point, but no foregone conclusion - seriously awkward customer.

Indongo masterclass 120-108.
Really hope Burns packs it in now. I don't want to see him as a stepping stone for younger fighters.
At least go out in a unification fight.
Now hope Top Rank treat Indongo to ringside tickets and a trip to NYC for the Crawford v Diaz fight and then a fight for all the belts in the summer / early autumn.

Such a sorrowful voice from the MC announcing the scores

If it was the other way round, lets be honest they would have been ruled knockdowns.lefthook82 wrote:Exactly. At least 2 knockdowns therejameswilson wrote:Am I the only person that thinks if you get punched in the head and fall over then it's a knockdown against you?

Indongo did for 12 what Gonzalez did for five. No one-hit wonder here....

Classy as usual from Ricky.

Hugely foregone conclusion, I'd be shocked if indongo did as well as burns.skanksta wrote:Indongo won in 2nd gear.

Gave Burns a share of two but that's being kind. Great win for Indongo. Fantastic performance from him. I doubt they'll be much of a queue clamouring to face the big Namibian after that.

Burns vs. Postol, Molina jr, Troyanovsky or Provodnikov whichever pays the most...

One fair as I see it with no thought to reputation, home-cooking etc.
One fair, but swayed by status, crowd, home-town fighter etc.
One bent, where they give everything they possible can to the home fighter.
and that makes in this case..
120-108
118-110
116-112
Brown envelopes indeed
