Scotland seem to be terrible at every sport; they must be the least athletic, most scrawny, pale people in the world. The only sport they seem to be ok at is that ridiculous sport on ice where they roll something that looks like a massive cheese and then scrub the ice with some old garden brooms....and I've never ever met anyone who's ever played this, so maybe that's why they do well. No one else plays the silly game.
you need to learn the history and understand the periods when Boxing was Tops and superior to different times when it wasn't/isn't...

others I'm forgetting and literally dozens & dozens of TOP Scottish British Contenders that were the real deal, especially from strong Era's... Scotland has a GREAT Boxing heritage from such a small country and population!!!
With all respect Scotland hasn't got a great sporting or boxing heritage. With a cursory production of data I have already made my point.
And I know boxing well - a lot of these so called great boxers I have never heard of, and those I checked most didn't even box in world class.
Look at wales, which has 1/3 less population and the number of great boxers they've had.
Scots are inebriated by pride (and Tennents ) so refuse to admit their shortcomings, and seem to have a pathological obsession pretending how great their country is.....

We're good at kicking the seven shades of shite out irritating, arrogant little pudenda. I'd like to see you run your stupid little fuckin mouth in any of the pubs over my way. You'd get your head in your hands to play with. Fanny.

Love the trainspotting scene though
you're not even any good at that! Unless the odds are 5 against 1 at least or you're armed with knives, you guys can't beat the shite out of a Piñata!
And let me tell you I have no intention of going to any of your shite local pubs to listen to a bunch of rapidly ageing drunks with poor DNA, emphysema, and a skin complexion hovering between skimmed milk for the 'young uns' and rotting jellied eels with a touch of cherry around nose and cheek area for the 'old boys'..... (in this case means been anyone above 35...)

Probably for the best. You'd end up leaving with your teeth in your pocket

whats the problem whether they are on facebook or main card? they have bought tickets and will be there watching it live in the arena

Well only if there were 15 of the scagheads and they had weapons
This thread is turned out how i expected it to,esp after the shite that was spraffed by the OP.
Not one to get bothered by England /Scotland stuff - cause im half and half
but going by the comments on here, which read like comments from the daily mail comments section, its clear to see how some people in England take scotland for granted.
Says the guy who's twitter is filled up with a load of crap on politics and posts like he actually has any substance . Politics your new play thing after the boxing ?
Silly, silly boys. I strongly suspect boxingknockout is Scottish and his wind up has achieved its aim. My goodness I wish there were salmon biting as quick.
JamieM wrote:I can't for the life work out what Ricky has done for these boys, these boys do more for Ricky than Ricky will ever do for them, without these boys shows don't happen in the hydro on that stage. Ricky fights, that's it!
I don't think that Ricky has a responsibility for other boxers - from what I understand he works in a shop during the day so is hardly flying around like Floyd.
By its nature boxing is an individual sport, as we saw a few years ago when the proposed Boxers Union didn't take off.
Also, I don't think any of the other boxers on the card are doing it for the benefit of Ricky - they are doing it for their own individual benefit.
