Hey Saad....what's really happening here as that you and I are the same person.....and I'm so complex in my matrix, that I'm having you accuse me of being Kalan

just so's I can have this conversation with another facet of myself. Which means.....you need to be more respectful, or I will quit signing on as you....and you will simply cease to be.

Or at least that's what I'll say when you're gone, and I admit to my duplicitous nature and attend the required 12 step program...... And of course I will have to close all my doppleganger accounts.

Including my Saad Sack account.
You're a troll, I'm a Boxing fan. I wish I could ignore you as I do your alter ego. No big deal, just calling you on your obvious bullshit. Hopefully I can help you to make Buzz great again.

BoxBuzz wrote:your passionate idolizing of the Hawk is wonderfully entertaining, but not particularly informative....never has there been a "prime" shorter than his, never has there been a more carefully managed career, and never have I seen a more optimistically inflated opinion than the one you hold for that fighter.

It's ok....your just showing a strong heartfelt passion for an alternative "clown prince".

Lot's of excuses for this fight....but he would have never beaten Bobby Jo Young even on his best day.

This Aaron Pryor is a very very unfair argument to try and make your case......this Pryor was full of drug's and was a shadow of his former self  Bobby Joe Young my ex brother inlaw beat him :D even dropped him for a count and won a un dec and he was a Jr Welterweight at the time Young was number 10 Welterweight in the World and was rated one of the hardest punching Welterweight's in the World :TU:

Who knows why you choose to get personal, but you often do.....probably cuz your a pin head.....and YOU thinking I'm a troll really hurts my feelings...... no really it does.......but I'm going to somehow move on, after my share of counseling.

and yes PLEASE tell everyone you put me on ignore....so you can continue to comment on what I say (and say it's because others quote me.) It's your M.O.

Saad, You are a little drama queen....but your are OUR little drama queen....so don't ever change! I may or may not choose to ignore you...It will depend on just how much attention you appear to need at any given time.

I certainly wouldn't believe that Pryor had more than a 15% chance to legitimately win this fight.

scorpio83 wrote:This would be a hard part to make your opinion. Who would win in their prime between Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker and Aaron Pryor. At light welterweight in 15 rounds, Pryor take the decision. What is your opinion?
My opinion is Pryor would beat Whitaker for the same reason De La Hoya got the decision over Whitaker... More and harder punches landing, a harder pace, a more active work rate, and Pryor had a very nice jab... He popped Alexis Arguello in the face with it in their initial fight and their rematch -- and stopped him both times... The way you beat a light hitting boxer is overwhelming him with incoming... getting in his face... and not letting him box... like Pryor did to Antonio Cervantes, stopping him in 4.

BuzzBox is a little like comedian Andy Kaufman... One of his routines was playing the entire theme from Mighty Mouse so he could lip sync "HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAAAAAAAAAY" .... Another of Kaufman’s gigs was to bring out a bowl full of ice cream, and start moshing and stirring it until it was completely melted... This took several minutes to do of course and he would glance at the audience from time to time... There was nothing clever in anything he did, but people would laugh at the sheer stupidity of it... I think Buzz is trying to capture his style without a lot of success.

Would have been one for the ages, but i think Whitaker would be too slick and definitely tough enough to handle the pressure of Pryor. Whitaker could get down and dirty when he needed to and Pryor wasn't always defensively responsible. I think it's a bit of a myth that Whitaker was a light hitter (not a one hitter by any stretch of the imagination), he was alot like Floyd in that aspect, going for the KO was simply not part of his game plan, but he had plenty of pop to hurt opponents and make them respect him. I will agree if this fight did happen, it wouldn't be the kind of night Whitaker would want to fall in love with his defense. He would have to stand and fight at times or Pryor would beat him simply on volume. Whitaker had the tools to do all that and more.

Whitaker by a UD 8-4 type of fight, with Pryor putting on constant pressure, but missing alot of punches and losing most exchanges.

I also believe that Sweet Pea was too smart and slick to get into a slugfest. He will pick his spots and cleverly would out maneuver The Cincinnati Hawk.

Whitaker was definitely too smart to be drawn into a slugfest with Pryor
