Whyte vs. Wach
Whyte vs. Wach
Confirmed for Saturday, June 3rd at O2 Arena.
Buglioni vs. Summers on the undercard, plus Ted Cheeseman etc.
Garbage fight for Whyte, does absolutely nothing for me. Tough sell in my opinion.

Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Card sounds proper gash based on they fights. Would've liked to have seen a Buglioni v Burton rematch.
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
It'd probably still be his best win other than his contentious win over Chisora.
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Not a bad fight IMO. Though a rematch with Chisora would be better.
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Not really setting pulses racing, but I don't mind watching that. On par with this weekend's output.
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Yea ain;t a fight many will care much for tbh

Re: Whyte vs. Wach
I'm actually surprised by the comments. I think this is an interesting matchup. It might not be an interesting fight, but I'm curious to see how Whyte does against the giant. let's remember Wach managed to land a crunching clean right hand on Wlad that had him in trouble and hanging on.
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
It's a decent career progression/learning fight for Whyte at the stage he is at.
But certainly doesn't get me going in terms of a spectacle.

The fight will probably be AIDS! I thought the same about Whyte v Chisora though and that was one of the fights of the year so...

Wach has a chin of iron. No way is Whyte stopping him.
He can hit a bit too, but Whyte has a class beard as well. Points win for Dillian innit

I like this fight! Wach is a solid good test for Whyte! Opponent could have been much worse than this

I'm happy with this fight..
Anything is better than a boring burns night

I'm pretty pleased with this fight too. Not the same levels as Chisora, but definitely a different kind of challenge. Coming off a career biggest win against Teper (albeit a Teper not on drugs), and been sparring with Joshua recently. I'll give Whyte the edge, but not going to be easy. Probably 65:45 in Whyte favour in points win. It'll also serve to increase his standing in the WBC rankings.

Good fight I'd like to see the bookies odds on for this one. Hoping there will be some value in backing Wach
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Wach's not really a puncher despite being huge. Only about half his wins by stoppage, and couldn't even hurt that Brazilian guy whom everyone stops. Wlad's rightfully considered chinny, but that clean right hand didn't have him in that much trouble, and he showed no signs of still being buzzed next round.Riddick Blowe wrote:I'm actually surprised by the comments. Whyte should win, although Wach's size and durability will probably mean a long fight that's awkward at times.
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
I can't pretend to be thrilled by this matchup, it's probably going to be a snorefeast, but one that Whyte has to get over the line to move up and challenge for bigger things.

Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Was it Wach who got done for PEDs after the Klitschko fight? Or am I getting him confused?
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
Yes, it was him. He also got caught transporting methamphetamine...
Re: Whyte vs. Wach
This is a decent match up. Can't see why so many people are whining.
Good luck, Dillian. Tough match up.
It's the same night as Shannon Briggs v Fres Oquendo for the WBA title.
I know which fight I'd rather watch
