I've not seen it, however how could anyone think it would be anything other than boring? Putting two of the blandest boxers together isn't gonna suddenly start fireworks.

It's partly due to the fact it's called "The Gloves Are Off" and the connotations that brings... When for such a promotion, with these personalities, just have a "Ringside Special" our round table discussion.

I agree with this. I said the same thing to my missus, there was something very insincere about the whole thing - it was like they were both afraid of upsetting the other one.

Eubank was sticking it into Collins re the Calzaghe fight! Funny tv

The one coming to BT/BN soon with Warren/Walsh/Davis/Mayweather looks alright. Obviously it will be because there's personality in the room unlike the vacuum of AJ/Wlad, but when there's no animosity just have them and the trainers/promoters round for a chat. Don't try and manufacture.

I always enjoy these and never find them boring. I find the psychology of boxing really interesting.

Both guys were as they normally are, straight talking. Neither seems to be playing any major mind games. I think Joshua will be very nervous about the fight, but that's to be expected. Wlad will be more calm about it, at least until punches are thrown. None of the pre-fight psychology will matter once the fight starts.

Yeah I enjoyed it too. Though I was surprised that Eubank admitted that he avoided the best American fighters of his day. I guess if he didn't, the likes of Collins would have called him out on it, and he knew that.

I would have liked to have seen Nigel Benn and Carl Froch in there (in place of RJJ & Woodhall)... RJJ belongs to a different group of fighters (along with Hopkins, McCallum, Toney, Nunn) and Woodhall belongs with the likes of Glenn Catley and Robin Reid.

Did we see a bit of the real AJ come out midway through this twitter argument between him & Fury?
