Whyte vs Wach 3/06 in London

Post by dagilechia »

It's gonna be a tough test for Whyte and with fair judges he is not a favourite imo

This might be very interesting. If Whyte is capable to beat Wach - he belongs to top 10 HW.

Good fight between two guys wanting to improve their standing. Other heavies should take note.

Good fight, but Whyte should rematch Chisora at some point. It was too close to consider him a distinct winner.

Good fight and I see Wach as a clear favorite here.

I don't rate either to be honest...fairly even though. I can't see Whyte hurting Wach so he will have to run away with a decision. He needs to be fit though if he's going be on his toes as Wach can bang, steroids or not ;-)

The 2 times wach has stepped up he's been very handily beaten

The 1 time Whyte stepped up he was stopped and handily beaten (albeit had a very good 1.5 rounds vs Joshua)

Wach has some decent wins, teper and hammer

Whyte has a decent win over a similar level guy chisora (albeit could have gone either way)

Wachs proven level looks to be a shade above Whyte

Whyte has youth and freshness on his side.

Very difficult fight for Whyte I'm 60/40 wach

Good fight but Whyte can outwork him for a close points win.

Povetkin dominated Wach when he was 35... Now he's 37... I expect Whyte to beat him if he can keep his temperament in check... He could have easily been DQ'd for going after Joshua after the 1st round ended... He's got to be cool.

Povetkin dominates everyone in the division, though. This is a real pick'em. Wach can beat dudes on Whyte's level.

This is an excellent match-up. I've always had a soft spot for Wach and felt that up until his most recent fight he was seriously underrated. How he was consistently well behind Christian Hammer I found surprising to put it mildly.

I was hoping to see a Whyte v Breazeale fight which had been mooted recently but this will do quite nicely instead.

Talking of Wach's most recent opponent, that's back to back losses for Erkan Teper now. He's looking a bit Ferkan Tepid is if he's ... how to put this ... er, ... running low on juice :D
