Villaneavu's attempted forward forays have been thwarted by the Astaire like footwork of the south african illusionist

Tapales isn't the champion (he was stripped this morning).... seen him a few times, he smashed the guy he's fighting tomorrow but his REAL standout was against Pungluang Sor Singyu, well worth a watch that one!

Tete Vs Inoue in September?

Is Tete that good or is his opponent just incredibly limited ? You'll go a long way to see a more one sided world title eliminator than this

Villanueva is a bit of a hot and cold fighter. He's looked fringe world class at times, but other times...he's looked liek this. Think he was much more competitive with Arroyo than the score cards suggested but here..here he got totally shut out

Bit of both.
Tete is a handful for the ATG's @ Bantam, while the Phillipines guy was just a tough gatekeeper.
Tete shoulda put him away really - he's gotta build that fanbase..

Dominant win for Tete, never lost a round, he's quality but i'd like to have seen him press Villanueva more, he made him feel his power early and hurt him so I reckon he could've forced a stoppage, cant be too critical though he was class

Yeah agree there mate. Getting the 12 rounds in the bank wouldn't have done him any harm though. The Filipino dude was in survival mode from early on.

Aye bud the rounds in the bank are never a bad thing, i'd like to see him have a busier year, i'd imagine Wazza's swung it for the WBO to make Tete full champ by winning this Interim belt, didn't someone mention the full champs been stripped??

Tapales was supposed to defend against Omori tomorrow. Tapales failed weight but Omori can still win the title if he wins tomorrow in Osaka.
