Yes, a bit wild and seemingly rushing for a KO.SAPFO wrote:Dubois looked like he was fighting outside a nightclub at 3am at the end there

The jab comes out nice, but the right doesn't. He lunges forwards with it. He needs to sort that or someone will catch him eventually. No accuracy either.

It looks as if his punches thud into the opponent, he's a bit rough around the edges, needs to settle down a bit but he's got talent, he's quick and he hits hard, he needs a good trainer to mould him into a contender, if he keeps getting into exchanges he's gonna get KO'd at domestic level

Very raw. Pop the jab more.
Incredibly early in the lads career. Look forward to seeing how he develops

When are we going to get a heavy who choses not to blow people out in the first 20 fights, and instead just boxes, and works for the opening. I'm sure they'd learn a hell of a lot more.

Con Sheehan seems to be doing just this.it will be very interesting to see how this stands him in a few years.SAPFO wrote:When are we going to get a heavy who choses not to blow people out in the first 20 fights, and instead just boxes, and works for the opening. Nurse fighting like a bit of a fool here

He's a 6 5" + aint he? where would you place him in 5 years based on what you've seen?LancashireLoyal wrote:Con Sheehan seems to be doing just this.it will be very interesting to see how this stands him in a few years.SAPFO wrote:When are we going to get a heavy who choses not to blow people out in the first 20 fights, and instead just boxes, and works for the opening. Hughes started great. A lot better than I thought. Nurse starting to look more comfortable now as Hughes pace drops.

I dont know,my first thought is he hasnt looked anything spectacular but like you say its rare to see a hw prospect coming through and just boxing all the rounds and against good opposition aswell.SAPFO wrote:He's a 6 5" + aint he? where would you place him in 5 years based on what you've seen?LancashireLoyal wrote:Con Sheehan seems to be doing just this.it will be very interesting to see how this stands him in a few years.SAPFO wrote:When are we going to get a heavy who choses not to blow people out in the first 20 fights, and instead just boxes, and works for the opening. I feel like Peter gets frustrated and wants to see him go through the gears in fights and blow a few of them out but its a fine line between getting rounds and being boring. Its a shame we'll probably never see any top level prospects do it this way for fear of going stale and losing appeal

Got Huughes by one. BN seem to have Nurse winning comfortably!
Re: Round-By-Round - Tommy Langford vs. Avtandil Khurtsidze - April 22nd 2017
Draw! Fair enough I suppose.
Re: Round-By-Round - Tommy Langford vs. Avtandil Khurtsidze - April 22nd 2017
Draw is a fair result.
I had Nurse, but it was a tough fight to score.
Nurse is so frustrating - he looks the complete package in patches, but then he coasts, fights the wrong fight, drops to his opponents level and powder-puffs about.
