Sort of a shame that Fury & Saunders represent the traveller communities. The only reason for this is their barbaric treatment of themselves, despite their athlete status.

Tbf, they probably are a good representation of most travellers, but I'm no expert, I only say this because of their backwards thinking towards certain things.

In the 'good old days' this would have been an overweight 10 rounder billed basically as a 'keep busy ' fight until a world title defence. World title fight - your having a laugh !

He was trying to get Fight in Kazakhstan to coincide with Expo 2017 in the country at same time being their biggest ambassador Sports wise.

Then stories emerged he was injured and couldn't make date.

More likely been told to hang fire until after Canelo/Chavez bout if they have already done a deal perhaps.

If you ignore the 'being gay is like being a paedophile and women are only good for cooking, cleaning and shagging.'

He can be a nice guy but you can't ignore or dismiss stuff like that.

You can ignore it if all you're commenting on is his boxing career, but it's a legitimate point if you're saying how nice a guy he is.

I thought that they had been told by golden boy that if they take a fight in June / July that will mean GBP will not even consider them for the September date

Khurtsidze is a crude banger, but tough as old boots. BJS should outpoint him by wide UD or stop him, but if he's unfit and get's lazy then he could get chinned. I think BJS is a class above Langford though, so it's not like for like and I don't expect a fit and firing BJS to get beat by this little munchkin, fun as he has been in the Langford build up.

BJS does look fat and out of shape, so we're saying 8th July, 3 months to shift a load of weight, not ideal prep.

I like him, I think he's a fucken dude, which isn't quite the same as saying he's such a nice guy

I remember I took a mate to visit other mates once, and my mate was at the time working with a local Tory party HQ and hoping to get on their shortlist, and my other mates after were saying 'how can you be mates with him?'
The guy was/is a proper mate who was there for me when I needed him, I couldn't give a fvck for his politics. I feel similar with Tyson, the overall package I like quite a lot, and for all the reasons always given think he is a breath of fresh air in our sport.

In the context of that some silly views on this or that don't affect me in the slightest.

He'd have to have done a lot worse than a couple of stupid comments on issues that don't concern me, to overcome 'BATMAN', and singing after fights, and the many interviews where I get the impression I would love to have a few hours on the lash with him chatting shit about boxing

That's fair enough, but a perfect example of how people are prepared to give a LOT of leeway to a guy who thinks being gay should be a death sentence and is comparable with abusing children.

Fury goes overboard loads of times around a fight. However, I remember after Wlad win, the journalists interviewed were saying that Fury is a good person and great with them. There are a lot of fighters who are idiots around fight time but are genuinely very good people.

Saunders is a prick and he gets too much attention despite being an awful champion.

I've said it before; Fury clearly does come across as a really nice guy at times, but some stuff he's said on more than an odd occasion is demonstrably hateful. I'd love to see how he'd react if Joshua said all pikies are no good for anything except crime, skipping school and dying young. Freedom of speech? I wonder.

Being gay is not similar to being a nonce no, but I respect Fury for telling it how he sees it. Is that not why us in "The West" invade countries for? So we can give those people the freedom to make their own choices? But yet if you don't agree with same sex marriage, you're the devil and a backwards thinker!

I've got no problem with gay people, but even I can't get my head around the fact people would rather stick their nob in a mans rusty bullet hole, as opposed to, well, you know... And then the over feminine acting like a girl, well, thats not normal is it no matter how much the world has evolved.

Freedom of choice works both ways

I like Khurt. He was gonna lose that last night, but he's that 'don't blink' kind of fighter who can turn you off with one punch. Not many of those around.
