Re: Betting thread
Added on this bout in Germany Saturday afternoon:
Arthur Abraham (-230) vs Robin Krasniqi $230.00 for $100.00

Re: Betting thread
Surprised at how close those odds are! Where did you get that?
Krasniqi has never shown that he can win at AA's level, and it's definitely a good time to bet on the favourite.

On the subject of weight, Japanese sources have reported Tapales is seriously struggling to make 118..crusader wrote:I thought Khurt looked fine too, although failing to make weight usually isn't a good sign.
edit: he actually did make weight, just needed another attempt?

Where not talking about a prime AA is the problem. The questions is has AA dropped down to Krasiqui level. Not the other way around.crusader wrote:Surprised at how close those odds are! Where did you get that?

Re: Betting thread
Big line movement on that bout. It opened at -335, I bet at 5Dimes at -230 earlier today and it's all the way down to-185 now. I'm watching Bellator MMA, so I haven't checked yet if there was any missed weight or injury report to cause that extreme movement. I'm tempted to bet more.crusader wrote:Surprised at how close those odds are! Where did you get that?

Re: Betting thread
I'm not saying Krasniqi will win...but he is much younger, much taller, and naturally much bigger than AA
Re: Betting thread
Just checked the weigh-in photos and video. With the size difference, I'll stick with my one chalky Abraham bet and cross my fingers.
Re: Betting thread
Despite having a superficially nice looking 46-4 record, Krasniqi has never done anything of significance, and he's had several close bouts against mediocre opponents. AA is used to being the shorter man by several inches, and I also suspect that if the judges are going to be generous to one of the fighters, it will be him.
Obviously AA is not at his peak, but I think he should be a solid favourite.

Re: Betting thread
Can't believe that AA got down to -185.....Krasniqi is mediocre at best and could hardly beat guys like Tomas Adamek (the Czech journeyman, not the Polish heavy!).
Congrats Jim

Re: Betting thread
I watched both UK cards simultaneously, but the German one I just followed a RBR online. Wish I added more on Abraham at -185, but the size difference was a lot. How about that Khurtsidze though!

Went crazy, did poor. Needed Ramirez to finish Bursak, really needed Tete to finish Villanueva.
Onto next week, where I'm hoping Pulev finishes Johnson, and AJ walks into a big right early.

No disrespect - but this is your first post, you are claiming you were sure of a result 'after' the result has come in.... a big underdog, but some saw value. Why would you even bother posting that as a first post? Are you a shill that works for a bookmaker? I'll be keeping an eye on youdams wrote:My first post here and I see you guys are doing right history.

Re: Betting thread
Decided to play up a large part of my winnings on Campbell by ko against Perez, Evens with PP seems a decent price to me, not sure that Perez will take the body attack from Campbell, he struggled against Crolla in that department and I think Campbell hits harder than Ant.
Hoping the alcoholic day I have had has not clouded my judgement but hey, still in profit after this bet so lets play it up lads.

The way ive convinced myself that is that these big events are the majority of the time an anti climax (see fury v wlad for example), and IF it goes all the way and is close i think he'll get the nod.Finn wrote:Joshua points? Brave one that.Bennyblanco wrote:My first one for next week
