Just seen the Lanford fight, I reckon BJS wins pretty easy to be honest.

He will, he'll box Khurtsidze all around the ring, regardless of shape and Akavov performance.

Fairplay to Khurtsidze though :box:

If you ignore the 'being gay is like being a paedophile and women are only good for cooking, cleaning and shagging.'

He can be a nice guy but you can't ignore or dismiss stuff like that.
Being gay is not similar to being a nonce no, but I respect Fury for telling it how he sees it. Is that not why us in "The West" invade countries for? So we can give those people the freedom to make their own choices? But yet if you don't agree with same sex marriage, you're the devil and a backwards thinker!

I've got no problem with gay people, but even I can't get my head around the fact people would rather stick their nob in a mans rusty bullet hole, as opposed to, well, you know... And then the over feminine acting like a girl, well, thats not normal is it no matter how much the world has evolved.

Freedom of choice works both ways

I like Khurt. He was gonna lose that last night, but he's that 'don't blink' kind of fighter who can turn you off with one punch. Not many of those around.
How was he going to lose? He was levels above Langford and showed it from the first punch he landed. Almost like Tommy was offered up as fodder for the Saunders fight.

No, if he turned up in the shape he did for the Akavov fight he'd lose.

I never thought that Khurt was blowing, and his stamina has been fine late into many of his other fights; he's not someone with an engine problem. I also think the writing was on the wall for that ending. Langford was rocked by pretty much the first shot Khurt landed, and while he did score with some tapping shots, the Georgian laughed them off and was getting very close with hard punches throughout the fight. The commentators acted like Langford was putting on some boxing clinic, but he wasn't at all...

Even if Saunders wins, I'm sure the chubby one will find a way to drop rounds and flag in the second half.

Poor Tammy. Thrown in to raise the profile of the Georgian madman.

I reckon the midget has a shot against BJS. Saunders has not impressed me really. He struggled big time against Ryder, Blackwell and Akovov. Stunk the house out against Lee.

I don't get the hype. He can box, but has no punch at top level from what I can see and has very questionable stamina.

Far too inactive. Poor excuse for a champion right now.

If you take a serious look at Saunders , i think most , if pressed to say what he needs to work on the most, is POWER and STAMINA ... Now Saunders moves quite well , he has a reasonable chin , ,, but I know if i was coaching him , i would have him in the gym working on being a lot more spiteful with his punches ,, during the course of his work (daily work ) I would expect his stanima to improve ,, you can't just work on power happenning with one shot or at a set pace ,, the power has to be there wether its a fast fight a slow fight , or a quick combination .

Point i'm making is you cannot work on that when 8 weeks of a 12 week camp is spent just losing weight and getting in shape

Professional boxers should be in reasonable shape all year round, and a camp however long it maybe should then just be solely based on the fight in hand. They should not have to make it about losing the weight as it is taking preparation time away from the fight. All that being said though I rate Billy Joe highly and he has got to the level he is on talent alone but his lifestyle will be his undoing when he gets in with the top boys.

Saunders to dictate early and get lazy/gas/switch off late for a 3/4 point decision

I think the biggest improvement would be just getting him to stay in shape when out of camp. Keep he doing runs and heavy bag work etc.

Not impressed with Saunders in or out of the ring. I thought he might have had an epiphany after his last fight, but it doesn't look that way. He's not very likeable, doesn't sell a ticket and hasn't really had a convincing win against anyone decent, certainly not recently.

I think he'll probably get over the line against Khurtsidze, but I'd cash out with Golovkin or Eubank next. It must be getting expensive and risky putting him in with people he'd beat easily if he took himself a bit more seriously.

He doesn't really want to box, does he? He wants to be in the pub or with his horses or banging some traveller groupie, but he knows that he has a winning lottery ticket in that belt and he needs to keep on training and fighting to cash it in. Guaranteed, once he's lost to GGG or Canelo, we'll never see him fight again. I can't stand him but he obviously enjoys his life. Fighting this little bloke only gets in the way of that, and it won't be a big payday either. It'll be a hard sell, like all his fights are. At least Langford would have brought some fans. BJS just isn't much liked and from what I saw having been to one of his shows the fans that follow him are a nasty bunch. I wouldn't bother buying a ticket to a BJS show: he'll either pull out or you'll get there and one of his cousins will be sitting in your seat swearing blind that it's his.

Tbf, they probably are a good representation of most travellers, but I'm no expert, I only say this because of their backwards thinking towards certain things.
