He has never been in shape which would allow him to last 12 rounds against Khurt. There are two big ifs though:
- Can Khurt himself keep pressure for 12 rounds ?
- Can Khurt take Billy's counters ?

LOL   , Saunders is mad that he didn't cash out against Canelo or GGG! He knows that pitbull is gonna tear him apart for less money. Fortunately Saunders has a few good domestic fights left against CEJr II, Lee, Murray and maybe Groves at 168.

I think GGG's team is waiting for the outcome of this fight along with the one of Canelo-Chavez Jr fight. I think it's a very smart move, to be quiet and wait. :OhYes:

Brilliant way to put it! Khurtsidze is such a badass. I hope he caves Saunder's head in.

I've just lost a lot of respect for Saunders, there is promoting a future fight but that outburst is just not needed.
Khurtsidze just won the interim version of the world title, Saunders holds the full version yet the interim belt holder is acting more like the real champion.

Saunders is a good boxer but now that the option for waiting for a bigger fight has been taken away, he's acting like a baby who'd just thrown the teddy out of the pram, if he's not worried then he should just fight the guy, win and carry on. Not go throwing a tantrum just because the guy who's coming for his belt next isn't the biggest name in boxing and is coming in to give him a hard fight.

I can't believe so many people believe Khurt has a chance against BJS. BJS will come in motivated and box rings around him.

Khurtsidze by all means should be "undefeated." I put it in quotes because his first real loss was so early in his career it's not significant. He arguably beat N'Dam. He has an argument of being the best fighter BJS has fought. I think this will be a very tough fight, and I'm not so sure BJS's stamina will allow him to have an immense amount of success against a raging bull like Khurtsidze. I could be wrong, though. BJS is a very good fighter, but damn, the winner of this will definitely deserve a huge fight.

Im thinking it's more likely that fat boy gets the decision after dropping rounds and yet again gassing in the second half.

Someone in the Brit section suggested that Khurt was blowing against Langford, but he's consistently shown that he can keep fighting hard late into fights, and I think hell make things tough for BJS, though Saunders should have enough skill to win.

I want Avtandil to whoop BJS SO badly. Love Khurtsidze and I'm glad to see he's finally getting some press.

I am wondering if Canelo goes after Khurt if that happens.

Has BJS always been so histrionic, juvenile & crude?
I have to wonder if that little bit of banter caused him to lose his composure in such an over the top manner how could he possibly hold himself together mentally & emotionally during the rigors of a big fight camp, pressers & on fight night itself? Judging by the contents of this video, I doubt if he could.

Khurtsidze getting the "badass eastern european" treatment again... he's a solid guy, but if Eubank doesn't beat him, that old little guy doesn't either. Saunders isn't great, but he's no Douglas or Langford.

Reminds me to Zlaticanin thinking he could take out Mikey Garcia, and many people thought he would. We all know how it ended.

BJS is no Mikey Garcia, not anywhere close. Eubank didn't beat him, because he was mainly concerned about his theatrical performance instead of being effective. Besides, Eubank doesn't have a one-punch KO power of Khurt.

Avtandil is not Eastern European.
Georgia was a part of Soviet Union, and Khurt speaks Russian much better than English. Georgia participates in European sports championships.

Then define your meaning of an Eastern European. Is that purely geographical? Then significant part of Russians are not Eastern European.

Borders mean something from a political standpoint I suppose, the rest is genetic. Georgians are not Eastern European; I've never known a Kartvelian that claimed to be either.

BJS went life and death last fight with Akavov, and many had him losing or only managing a draw. He was in worse form than usual, but he's often only just scraped by, dating back to fights with guys like John Ryder. I'd say BJS is around the same level as N'dam--probably a little better due to extra durability-and Khurt was extremely competitive with the Frenchman, and in many people's eyes deserved the win.

I don't think it's outlandish for people to see Khurt beating Saunders or being highly competitive, though I still expect BJS to win a UD. Incidentally, he better start training hard soon, because he's looking quite porky.
