I have this niggling/unwelcome feeling that Wlad would not have taken this fight unless he had examined all the angles; that's what both K brothers have nearly always done and with a very high degree of success.

They plan, discuss and analyse and then readjust extremely well.

Heavyweight boxing by numbers sure as hell ain't sexy and the K brothers sometimes come across as nerdish management consultants/sports scientists, but I am assuming that Wlad has looked this fight up-and-down and knows what he has left and made a calculated, rational decision.

I also have this gnawing feeling that AJ has jumped the gun by aix months - even if an aged Wlad is only operating at 85 per cent - it will be signficantly more than anything he's had to face before. Put politely, even an old Wlad is way more dangerous than a tip-top Whyte.

Can't help thinking that AJ needs to land very early, hard and tellingly or this fight will be slowly and inextricably taken away from him.

Wlad in 9 for me but with those odds feck it, worth a punt on both, will prob spend a hell of a lot more on entertainment/refreshments for the night.

Just went to local Bookies put a tenner on each didn't get those prices but got 66/1 rd1 and 50/1 rd 2, Hope dreams do come true!

I expect some close rounds where Wlad maybe edges them... But around halfway Joshua starts to take risks and lands. The ending will then be decisive and Joshua is the new king.

I think a big deal is being made of Joshua's one tricky night with Whyte.

My favourite scenario is one in which Joshua has to get off the floor to win. But I think Wlad is creaking. He wasn't as dominant as usual against Jennings. I think it's over for him

I rewatched the Whyte fight the other night. A lot is being made of that fight. He got tagged in the second round but was firing shots back 20 seconds later. The way people go on you'd think he was stumbling all over the place doing a chicken dance.

Agree. All HWs get hurt at some point. And if Whyte could have landed again in those 20 seconds he may have gone down. He may have not.

At some point they will exchange right hands and I don't think Wlad has the whiskers, the reflexes or the stamina to keep the young lion off him.
