I see a nice undercard!
You know you're irrelevant when you can't make the IBO top fifteen.

That says it all for me. The WBO and all the others, they're all pond-life. People often deride "The Ring"s belt as meaningless but although we all have our favourites, our prejudices - both rational and irrational, the Ring isn't like the alphabet mobs, totally self-serving, unconcerned with blatant injustice, oblivious to common sense and inclined to crap on whatever is good for boxing, with total impunity and lack of concern.

I often wonder why do we/ why does boxing, put up with these despicable shysters?

Say what you like about the Ring's ratings or indeed Box-rec's, but they may be flawed, they may be illogical on occasion, but you can bet they are not going to be drawn up based on political expediency and the goal-posts moved as and when required.

I broadly agree with you but don't regard the Ring magazine ratings as highly since the mag has been taken over by Golden Boy promotions.
Boxrec is good for doing your own checks and I regard TBRB as the most reliable ratings.
But ratings are largely a matter of opinion and everybody is entitled to have one.

But the sanctioning bodies' rankings are by far the worst that you'll find.
Too busy trying to force mandatories so that they can generate sanctioning fees.
So belt holders have to try and deal with drug cheating, lying shitbags instead of being able to organise meaningful fighs
