I was about to say "he's rich" but he's also managed to prodigiously gain weight while gorging on cocaine. The amount of calories he intakes must be preposterous.SaadOffTheDeck wrote: Why would anyone want to be Tyson Fury right now? Nothing is more worthless than the Ring belt.

Fury knows Wilder is a protected fraud
Re: Tyson Fury tweets at Wilder
Talking is all Fury does anymore. He knows he was the luckiest son of a bitch in the world to win the World Title from a better fighter who just showed up and didn't fight so he retired to a mountain of cocaine and cheesecake apparently. He'll be back at some point, and I look forward to seeing him knocked out when he returns.

Fury isn't exactly a badass either. He won the Heavyweight Championship in a game of pitty pat.montrealsuper wrote:Fury knows Wilder is a protected fraud

They're all badasses, they're high level professional boxers.gilgamesh wrote:Fury isn't exactly a badass either. He won the Heavyweight Championship in a game of pitty pat.montrealsuper wrote:Fury knows Wilder is a protected fraud
Fury and Wilder have taken different paths in terms of opposition though. Or lack thereof.

Badasses by the standards of the average man certainly. By the standards of Heavyweight Boxing Champions though, hardly.punchoutsb wrote:They're all badasses, they're high level professional boxers.gilgamesh wrote:Fury isn't exactly a badass either. True, but Fury and Wilder aren't really in the same league in those terms either. Fury has tested himself a few times, including against the consensus best. Wilder has fought Bermain Stivernegilgamesh wrote:Badasses by the standards of the average man certainly. That's all he had to do. WK surrendered the belts without putting up any kind of fight or resistance. Credit to Fury for totally taming the dominant HWT kingpin like a father handling a child or a cat with a mouse.gilgamesh wrote:Fury isn't exactly a badass either. Re: Tyson Fury tweets at Wilder
I hope Fury makes it back. He is a very good boxer in a division where there is very little boxing.
His fight with Wlad was boring. But it was also fascinating to see him move around and out box Wlad. He knew exactly what he needed to do to freeze Wlad and he did it.
I feel bad for Wilder at times. The heavyweight division is focused almost entirely across the Atlantic from him while even in the USA no one knows who he is outside of Alabama. He is like the kid constantly waving his hand at the kids in front of him saying "Wait up guys! Wait for me!". If he really wants to put himself on the map he needs to head across the pond and fight a big name in Europe. I don't really see him doing this voluntarily, though.

Fury will have only one more fight ... get KO'd ... and never fight again ... (ever) ...
