The problem i have with this forum
The amount of non experts in here. Its crazy.
We have a talent that we have rarely seen in boxing with footwork rarely seen before, with punch variation and speed at atg level and what are the hating non experts say"who did he fight". Basicly they cant hate on his skills and physical ability, si they hate on his record, when other top boxers like morales. Manny or calzaghe never faced such good opponents in their first 10 fights. Just be happy that we have a new atg in boxing with very rare skills. Boxers like this dont gez born often. Appreciate.
Same with sj. After 20 years of a boring heavyweight division with lewis, the wrestler wlad and roboter vitaly we finaly have an athletic tall strong elite puncher and all u do is hate. Non experts.
Maybe some of u should start watching table tennis cause some of you dont have no clue when they see a very good boxer infront of them. To me its more than easy to realize if someones the real deal or not.

Re: The problem i have with this forum
If this is a reaction to my response to you on the AJ Lewis thread, it's damn funny! Btw I'm a big Joshua fan! Love what he's doing.
As for Lennox Lewis being boring, watch:
Vs Vitali
Vs Mercer
Vs Briggs
Vs Razor
Vs Bruno
Now Lennox Lewis isn't Mike Tyson granted, but to place him in the same sentence as Wlad as boring, you show a lack of knowledge.
Only my non expert opinion

The Grant fight was good too.

I was going to mention grant but that was part of the question I put to him on another thread where he insinuated Lewis struggled vs taller guysTheDarkDestroyer wrote:The Grant fight was good too.

Each to there own, but I'd say the majority aren't with you re his entertainment. Early Wlad was more entertaining imocrusader wrote:Wlad-Peter

Plus not sure if you can count the sanders fight. Getting battered for a few rounds! It's like saying Bruno was entertaining in Tyson 2. Not sure if big frank contributed too much to it though
Re: The problem i have with this forum
Vulnerability is part of why certain fighters are fun to watch, and most of those Lewis fights were entertaining in large part because of what the opponents did. I know that many people consider Wlad boring and I can see why, but even for him you can cherry-pick fights that were good watches.
For the record, I don't think Lewis was generally a boring fighter, and on average his fights had more action than Wlad's.

Re: The problem i have with this forum
Lewis was a bit boring
Wlad is totaly boring
In of the day both were boring.
Finaly we have an elite heavyweight who is light years away from being boring

Re: The problem i have with this forum
ANd elite heavyweight that hasn't fought above British level. True 18 fights in, 18 year old Manny hadn't done as well, but there are plenty of fighters to have done more like that early on and turned out to be far from elite. That's why who you thought matters so much. Plus better fighters make doing stuff much harder.Jip wrote:Lewis was a bit boring

This is why I hate Joshua fnaboys they sell him as the great, the number 1, totally elite, that as soon as it's pointed out that has isn''t close to proving that they move the goalposts and start defending him as a prospect.
And if what you did so many fights in determined how great you were James J Jeffries what be atleast a level above Ali.

So you are the outmost authority are you on boxing who is an expert? What credentials do you have?Jip wrote:The amount of non experts in here. Its crazy.

AJ is potential, he hasn't fought anyone yet, yes he looks the real deal but so did Riddick Bowe. He is not an atg, you can't be considered all time at 26, come back when he's cleaned up.

I like AJ but you talk crap, he hasn't proved anything yet. Saturday is his acid test, Lewis was against Ruddock, we find out if he has the minerals sat. That might be a fair comparison was the Lewis that fought Ruddock as good as AJ now?
Before you start I have been following boxing over 30 years and have seen more fights that you have had hot dinners, from big events to small hall, even spent a few years writing and getting published.
Qualified enough for you?

Re: The problem i have with this forum
Man why you got it in for Lewis? aj is looking as good as but cmon mate Lewis fought some BIG names and he avenged his two defeats. I really like aj, I am not one of these British fans who hate on our own. However to be an atg you need many years experience. You have had work published? good, I would be interested in reading any articles or books you have. Just ordered a book on Freddie Mills. You do have great knowledge I am sure, but aj atg? you got the x on family fortunes les dennis style.J wrote:and what qualifies you as an expert?Jip wrote:The amount of non experts in here. You repeatedly boast about being a so-called “expert” about the sport of boxing, as per the hyperlink below…Jip wrote:The amount of non experts in here. Its crazy.

So what knowledge and experience do you possess that differentiates yourself from those that you accuse of being “non experts”?
Why do you feel your opinion is more valuable than others?

Re: The problem i have with this forum
I assume the other fighter he means is Loma, and I agree that there are some people saying shit about him...but you can't compare him to AJ because AJ hasn't even fought a top 10 guy.
Loma has showed he's the real, so I think anyone doubting him as great is just a hater, but with AJ it's genuine doubt.

Re: The problem i have with this forum
The only problem I have with this forum is how there are frequently numerous threads on the same subject. The only other forum I am a member of (Knees Up Mother Brown) is pretty hot on merging threads which are very similar.
They also made it so that you can only have one previous quote in your post. This avoids a one line comment taking up half the page because it's just been added to everything that went before all re-quoted.
It seems bandwidth isn't an issue on here.

Is a 'non-expert' someone that just happens to have a different opinion to you?
It's amazing that some people who frequent internet forums can actually interact with other human beings at all.
Internet forums have given rise to masses of pseudo-intellectuals who believe that their opinion on something hypothetical is actually a fact!
Note to such people: An opinion is just that, an opinion, NOT a fact & anyone who doesn't share your opinion is not stupid, wrong or a 'non-expert', they just have a different opinion to you, which in most places outside North Korea is still allowed in 2017.
