If you say it was tainted by Haye injuring himself then what credit does Bellew deserve exactly? Fair play to Bellew for taking the fight in the first place, but that's it.

Surviving the first round when most experts predicted he wouldn't ?
To be fair I thought Bellew was going to get banjoed inside two rounds, I was surprised how well he stood up to the shots pre-injury, even though Haye's timing was awful.
Look, I thought Bellew was getting destroyed so fair play to him for winning but I just feel so much of that was down to Haye's physical condition rather than anything Tony did. Maybe I'm being unfair, but Bellew was in an ass-kicking contest against a one legged man & it still took him that long to get the finish.

But he got the finish against all the odds though, that's why he deserves credit.Whether it took 11 rounds or not,he did the virtually impossible, took Haye's best shots and won. When you consider how big an underdog he was it was a big win for him.

Disagree, Bellew other than round 1 lost every round pre Achilles rupture for Haye. Well done to him for not getting flattened, but while both were able to fight, he was getting beat quite clear on points. Round 6, Achilles injury, the fight is over.

The injury was a game changer and ended the fight for Haye. It's not Bellews fault, but it's not a conclusive win. He did virtually nothing in the fight to deserve victory in an attacking sense

He didnt take hayes best shots at all, fair play to tony for having the balls to call him out but he didnt take his best shots and you could see from the first exchange haye wasnt right. I give bellew all the credit in the world for what he has achieved and what he done to win that night but im not blind or dillusional

Haye saw an Achilles specialist the week in the lead up to the fight. I'm not saying it was an incapacitating injury he started with, but I believe there was vulnerability and he was completely 100%. Again it's not bellews fault. Unfortunately for Haye he's injury prone. He can't afford (career wise not money) to pull out of fights these days though

He couldnt pull out, imagine the stick he would of took if he did after bellew saying all through the weeks "just dont pull out" it would of been career suicide for haye. Have a look at the first exchange were i think they both threw a left hook,Haye's right leg stiffened up and he was not the same after that. Haye thought he could turn up throw one right hand and game over, not bellews fault, like i say bellew gets all the credit in the world from me for taking this fight beating him and securing his family's future,as a husband and father i respect what he has done for his family

I agree with that

I do think if Haye can stay healthy they should rematch. Bellew went on about rematch for long enough. The fight wasn't conclusive who is the better man

From what i seen at the end of the fight id say bellew is the better man,if haye would of blitzed bellew there is no way on earth haye would of consoled bellew the way bellew consoled haye. As a fighter id say haye is the better boxer but its all about opinion :TU:

Haye was winning the fight till round 6 Achilles injury. Then Bellew wins when Haye goes down to one leg but his fight is realistically over. That's why it's inconclusive

Bellew will probably fight Wilder before he fights Haye again.

There's a pseudo beef brewing up between these two & you just know it will culminate in Wilder defending his title against Bellew.

Bellew has become a cash cow all of a sudden.

It's amazing what appearing a Rocky spin-off film can do for you!! :oo

Haye had a big beef with Chisora and they were all loved up after the fight. Think he'd have been as gracious in victory as he was in defeat to Bellew.

Absolutely there was, look at his ringwalk, he was walking as gingerely as a man with horseradish smeared into the gusset of his pants.

I for one don't wish to see a repeat. Haye looked like a washed up, has been and Bellew struggled to beat a one legged man. Dire all round. Anyone that pays to see a rematch, needs their head looking at.

Fury early or Smith late.

As long as Fury hadn't been preparing to fight a heavyweight rather than the fast explosive Smith, and didn't have a wife with a babby on the way, in which case you'd have to favour the Sky hardman, Fury has poor form under those circumstances

Actually gloved/non-gloved would be a big factor here. Smiths unfortunate combination of freakish power and tiny girly hands means he would be at a substantial disadvantage in a bare knuckle

You have to factor in Smith's 'Wiry' strength aswell. Fury is a big guy. I don't know how long his stamina would hold out, if it became a grappling heavy affair.
