Haye, Povetkin ... even Jennings and Wach.

Using the Wach fight as an example, he threw an average of 58 punches per round for 12 rounds. In the Jennings fight he threw an average of 45 punches per round over 12 rounds.

In the Breazeale fight, Joshua threw an average of 48 punches per round for just 7 rounds.
Good data gathering! :TU:
It IS good data gathering
BUT Haye, Povetkin, Wach were 7,3 and 4 years ago. Expecting a 41 year old, after a long layoff, to outwork a fresh, young gun is stretching it.
I'd think Wlad's game plan will be to hold, spoil, make the fight dull and go rounds. Then use his greater experience of pacing to take his chances when AJ makes mistakes.

Agree with that assessment. I'm thoroughly expecting a dull, over-hyped fight here but can't see all the spoiling in the world being enough for a Klitschko win.

If I was a promoter with Hearn's resources i'd make sure every up and coming fighter I had fought Mexicans until they reached title level, I know its a cliché but these guys always come to win

Thats why i don't pay. I'd rather watch the showtime stream, even if its a bit lower quality. It's going to be very important to see what's going on in the corners and you just know they'll go to adds during the big fight. HBO and showtime have never done that

Think it might be Campbell although I know Kelly's maybe getting to fight if they can fit him, the cards on a tight schedule for the US broadcast, because Kelly was 3rd in that draw with Okolie and Cordina, he might not get to fight at all, but hopefully they'll let him on seeing as Cordina and Taylor won on the distance

I don't even know what weight class Cordina is in , but there has got to be better domestic journeymen that would have made for a better fight .
