Now what is Deontay Wilder going to do ?

Post by Evander »

How does Deontay Wilder follow an Anthony Joshua stoppage win in front of 90,000 people in a highly entertaining fight against someone as credible as Wladimir Klitschko ?

If i'm Deontay Wilder, I'm feeling even better about beating Anthony Joshua after this fight. I'd even go as far as to consider fighting him at Wembley Stadium just to make the fight happen. AJ's going to party and get all high on himself and now is the time to fight him after a blood and guts type of fight like that. That takes a lot out of a man.

Go after Parker. No way Haymon will risk him against Joshua yet.

Hearn and Haymon have a very close relationship and we have seen PBC fighters on Matchroom-Sky cards (i.e. DeGale & Selby). We also know that Top Rank is willing to work with Hearn & Haymon.

So I think Parker & Wilder should appear on the undercard of one of Joshua's fight cards, to expose them to UK fans, preferably engaging in title unification, with the winner facing AJ in a Wembly stadium-filling undisputed championship mega-event (vying for all four titles).

Will Top Rank work again with Showtime though? I don't know about that one.

The same thing he's been doing; avoid challenges, fight opponents outside the top twenty and talk about how he wants big fights.

Wilder is after a bum, or a big payday, so he does want to fight AJ, since that would be by far the biggest payday possible.

I think Wilder will keep on boxing weaker opponents and build the Joshua fight up.

If you want to kick it off with Joshua or even being considered at this point you better go out there and scalp a name.

There's hardly anyone in the division with standout wins though

So can AJ fight himself?

Wilder-AJ is about as big as it gets in the division

I'd get Tyson Fury back in the frame and smarten his game up ... he's so negative considering his true personality.
Sometimes that guy thinks too hard and imagines the worst.

Tyson Fury has that mentality like life's done him a disservice, just get on with it man and stop with the negativity.
Have a moan and complain but be who you really are ffs.

Both Wilder and Parkers last few fights have been aired in the U.K. In fact every Wilder fight since Stiverne and a couple before that have been.

Also Parker was due to fight Hughie Fury , so he's been built up in UK already

Wilder was commenting/ a pundit for the AJ fights tonight too

Wilder will take the easier Parker option first if at all. What was the crowd size at Wilders last fight at Omaha? 5,500?
Not much money in that.
They said the PPV numbers for AJ/WK were over 100,000,000. Is that true?

Wilder is only gonna get older and Joshua is only gonna get better as time passes. If there is a time for Deontay to have a chance in this fight, it's now.

Just because they were aired in the UK doesn't make it word.
If you look at how they're restructuring it they built up Parker because they said so ... don't mean it's legit because you put bells and whistles on it.
A basic fundamental of boxing is who you have fought.
