Wladimir boxing skills

Post by cold187 »

No one can deny wlad showed his awesome boxing skills at 41 years
1 excellent foot work and speed
2 excellent jab
3 ring generalship
4 at start of every round he was in middle if ring waiting for AJ to get off his stool

Youth definitely prevailed last night, stoppage was 50-50 but wlad never complained. He looks he was getting hurt but replay show punches were missing.

I agree with you about his boxing skills, but stoppage was OK. Do you remember Abdusalamov ?

Yep but he was getting punched in head.
Think wlad would have regrouped after bell

Anyway all hindsight

Loved his boxing style though with his pawing jab
He was right he is a boxer that can punch and AJ is a puncher

If I was ref yesterday I would have stopped the fight after third KD.....Joshua is the most powerful puncher after Foreman's retirement...Incredible power....
