I Believe AJ Beats Wilder...
...but I reckon Wilder could be his most worrying opponent because of how crazy he is, and how powerful he is. I don't think Parker's defence, power or stamina gives AJ many problems. Ortiz for me is dwarfed by AJ, and seems to be ageing bad. Fury I can definitely see beating AJ but it's all about being fit n' ready, that's out the window. Pulev can take rounds of AJ but I think AJ sparks him....who am I missing?

As long as AJ boxes Wilder and doesn't show he's hurt he will win. I think in round 6 if Wilder saw AJ that hurt his windmill would have activated.TheGingerBomber wrote:...but I reckon Wilder could be his most worrying opponent because of how crazy he is, and how powerful he is. I favored AJ before the Klitschko fight. Now it's an absolute lock.
AJ within 4 or 5 rounds, winning every round on the way. Wilder is not close to AJ's class. Old Wlad beats Wilder still too.

Agree with both of you, AJ is supremely talented compared to Wilder. Wilder's struggled with so many average fighters, including Washington last time out. It's just that big right hand is a huge equaliser, I'm quite convinced it's the hardest dig in boxing.

Fun fight. Basketballer vs a body builder. Let's have it.

I think Wilder would be gunshy too. It's all well and good swinging away when you know not much is coming back!punchoutsb wrote:I favored AJ before the Klitschko fight. Now it's an absolute lock.

Early knockout win for AJ, devastating fashion

Would be a good fight
Wilders not up to much tbh
He has a punchers chance, but so does anybody
AJ likely KOs him

Re: I Believe AJ Beats Wilder...
If a man past his best at 41 years old can hurt and drop and out box AJ for the best of the fight [I had Wlad in front at time of stoppage 96/94] then a powerful man that's still in his prime with excellent reach can give AJ one hell of a fight I can't wait for them to sign won't probably be early next year at the earliest
Re: I Believe AJ Beats Wilder...
It's the windmill effect for sure. Wilder throws such powerful and unpredictable shots when he lets his hands go that even the best defence will get tested at some stage. And AJ doesn't have the best defence.
If Wilder doesn't let his hands go then AJ to win KO, if he does let his hands go then Wilder will catch him and finish the job like Wlad didn't.

Re: I Believe AJ Beats Wilder...
Joshua is far better. Wilder is a knockout waiting to happen, he'd have a punchers chance with the right hand but I'd back Joshua to land cleanly more often and I don't think Wilder's chin would hold up.
