He looks and sounds like he's aged 15 years in 2 years. If I were him, I would fight Guillermo Jones who is 44 years old. If he loses to him, his career is over.

Tyson Fury is ridiculously out of shape, he doesn't even have a boxing license yet, which he has not even requested from the BBBofC and he also has to deal with his multiple drug test failures/bans lifted with UKAD and VADA.

There is no hope whatsoever of Tyson Fury fighting again in the short-term.

I think he certainly could, but only if his mind is sorted out.

He is very far away from being ready. He says he's back. It means nothing, like most of what he says. The only thing that keeps him remotely relevant is having the Ring Magazine belt. They have not updated their ratings yet, but they have Joshua No. 5 even when the consensus was that Joshua was No. 1 before the Klitschko fight. I think Ring likes having a difference of opinion from most people.

It doesn't matter ... he will get KO'd in his next fight and be gone forever ...

... (and THAT will be good for boxing) ...

Yup. Good pick. :TU:

What is it with this place lately? Fury vs Guillermo Jones would be a joke.

Who do you expect him to fight with a two year layoff and physical/mental issues? Jones is the No. 10 heavyweight on BoxRec which I don't agree with, but it is based on his whole career.

A better opponent than a fat old drugged up cruiserweight.

Tyson Fury is good for boxing, and I am waiting for his comeback. He needs two fights (opponents type Miller,Jennings or Charr) before the greatest spectacle - Joshua vs Fury, of course....

It depends entirely who he is aiming to fight again, as much as he and Joshua talk up a big fight , I just don't see it happening any time soon.

Joshua has to defend the WBA title against the number 1 contender and I believe that's Pulev right now, after that fight Joshua can set his sights on who he want's and with the way Deontay Wilder is talking a unification fight between the eventual winner between Wilder and Parker for the unified Heavyweight title would be too big a fight to ever resist.

For Fury on the other hand, for a comeback fight in the UK I'd be looking at either David Price if he is still boxing after his last loss or Michael Sprott, Price has good all round boxing ability and after his last loss needs a big fight to come back, Sprott hasn't won since 2014 and while he isn't to the same level as Price or even British title level now he would make a good durable comeback opponent who the British public still know.
If he want's an easier fight abroad I'd say a Irish Heavyweight fight with Sean turner would be good to help him start to salvage his reputation or Albert Sosnowski if he wants a bigger comeback challenge abroad for one of the European belts.

After these come back fights a Fight with the eventual winner of Cornish and Sexton who would hold the British title or the winner of Chisora and Helenius who are competing for the WBC silver belt later this year would at least put him on the right track for a comeback route towards the world titles.

Joshua will have to defend against Klitschko again if he wants a rematch because it's in the contract. Pulev and all the other contenders will have to wait if there is a rematch.

Tyson Fury is an imbecile and a clown and isn't even good for humanity, let alone boxing ...

Tough to predict.

In 1975 I would have predicted Muhammad Ali would be UN Ambassador before the century was out.

In 1975 I would have predicted George Foreman would be dead be a self inflicted gunshot or from a fight.

So whether Tyson Fury will OD or rise from the ashes like a phoenix is a very tough call.

He could have a few good tuneups and fall off the wagon again like Cooney in the 1980s.

If Fury will comeback it's only for a big, big payday and he probably won't even train for that fight.

I think at least 3. He's always been fat, but even fat, he got in there and whooped Christian Hammer pretty easy. That turned out to be a very, very good win too as Hammer went on an impressive win streak.
