Im trying to find some old photos/articles/footage on my grandfather Ronald James Petersen. He boxed in the 1950s in Brisbane, Australia.

Your grandfather was fighting in a very good era of Aussie Feather and Bantams 
I did a little poking around and was happy to learn a little bit about him and his opponents. Was a young prospect and a hard hitting crowd favourite in Qld. Gave Bobby Sinn as good as he got on two occasions, until tiring and getting stopped late. He was trained by Dick Gunthorpe and later with Charlie Smith. In preparation for his 2nd fight with Sinn, he was sparring with Elley Bennett and Len Dittmar. Later in their careers Sinn and Bennett would also train together under Snowy Hill.
