Joshua. Personally I hope AJ chooses to make a mandatory defence against Ortiz for the WBA strap and Klitschko makes a fight with Parker and they both then meet later in the year.

Yeah I'd like that scenario.IT wrote:Joshua. Personally I hope AJ chooses to make a mandatory defence against Ortiz for the WBA strap and Klitschko makes a fight with Parker and they both then meet later in the year.
I expect Joshua to fight either Pulev or Ortiz next. If he fights anyone other than those two, Fury, Wilder or a Klit rematch then I expect them to take Joshua on the road and cash in abroad.
Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
Yeah. I'd much rather Joshua fight Ortiz than Pulev and give up the IBF strap if he has too. Hearn might go the other way though as Pulev is imo still probably the easier fight of the two.jameswilson wrote:Yeah I'd like that scenario.IT wrote:Joshua. So to sum up, I hope its Ortiz if not Klitschko 2, Fury or Wilder.
Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
I think Joshua would whip Pulev. Might take him a few rounds to get his timing because Oulev moves pretty well for a bit lump.

Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
AJ would flatten Pulev in all fairness
Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
No question Pulev looked poor against kevin Johnson this week. Pulev is not in AJ's league or Fury's or Wlads.
Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
Pulev has 2nd best jab after klitschko
But no power
WBA have given wlad a voluntary so Ortiz is not next

They will keep him away from a puncher who's young and fit , somone who can go hard for 12 rnds , because i doubt Aj can , or will ever be able too , he showed terrific balls the other day and a will to win that to be honest i did'nt think he had , but make no mistake youth won him yhat fight , Vlad gassed and took his foot of the pedal , and allowed AJ to get his second wind .
Still lucky enough for AJ theres not to many around who are big enough , young enough and hit hard enough . I would like to see him and Parker , or Wilder , with a 2018 matchup with Fury

Who was the last heavyweight who could punch and go at a pace for 12?coneye wrote:They will keep him away from a puncher who's young and fit , somone who can go hard for 12 rnds , because i doubt Aj can , or will ever be able too , he showed terrific balls the other day and a will to win that to be honest i did'nt think he had , but make no mistake youth won him yhat fight , Vlad gassed and took his foot of the pedal , and allowed AJ to get his second wind .

The poll is clearly Joshua
Any pulev vote is a troll surely

That's a very risky fight imo.IT wrote:Joshua. Personally I hope AJ chooses to make a mandatory defence against Ortiz for the WBA strap and Klitschko makes a fight with Parker and they both then meet later in the year.

Does Pulev even want Joshua? Why? Klit nearly severed his head and since then he's been fumbling to insipid decisions over the likes of Chisora and-ye gads!-Kevin Johnson. He'll be beaten senseless by Joshua.
I bet he'd gladly accept a step aside fee.

I'd fear for Pulev's life if this fight went ahead.

Good call. So I think it's safe to say the nightmare opponent coneye describes just isn't aboutTuan_Jim wrote:Ibeabuchi!Ossyrules wrote:Who was the last heavyweight who could punch and go at a pace for 12?coneye wrote:They will keep him away from a puncher who's young and fit , somone who can go hard for 12 rnds , because i doubt Aj can , or will ever be able too , he showed terrific balls the other day and a will to win that to be honest i did'nt think he had , but make no mistake youth won him yhat fight , Vlad gassed and took his foot of the pedal , and allowed AJ to get his second wind .

Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
Does'nt seem so , I can't think of one , so for me its back to Parker , because he has a title and AJ should grab it , , and he can go 12 rnds , can bang a bit but realisticly will probably get clobbered ,, or Wilder simply because he has a title and AJ should go after it ,, and Wilder can punch a bit and may test out AJ's chin a bit more , but realisticly given he only seems to fight gimmee fights it probably won't happen .... That leaves us with please Mr Fury get in shape for early 2018Ossyrules wrote:Good call. Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
I'd love to see Joshua-Ortiz and Klitschko-Parker with the winners meeting, because then we'd be down to the winner of those four versus the winner of — let's dream — Fury-Wilder. Bellew and Haye can have their rematch, and if Haye isn't injured and wins, he can have any one of 'em for his last fight; so long as they're still credible.
I've nothing against either, but beyond their use as markers for up-and-coming heavies, Pulev and Povetkin don't interest me.

Young fit fighters don't have the skills of Wlad.coneye wrote:They will keep him away from a puncher who's young and fit , somone who can go hard for 12 rnds , because i doubt Aj can , or will ever be able too , he showed terrific balls the other day and a will to win that to be honest i did'nt think he had , but make no mistake youth won him yhat fight , Vlad gassed and took his foot of the pedal , and allowed AJ to get his second wind .

Aj can develop his skills versus the young and fit challengers.

Pulev doesn't have the power to harm AJ.
I'd be amazed if it wasn't Pulev next.
Incredible to think that AJ is such a draw he can probably get a 60k+ attendance in Cardiff against him.
