I agree. He won't remain undefeated in the next 10 years, he will take a loss or two, however not saying he won't have immediate rematches and regain any world title, potentially becoming a multiple time world champion.Loki wrote:I like AJ and I hope he does dominate now until then but I have some doubts. He's too stationery and his footwork is pretty awful. Of course, he's a powerhouse but I'd like to see him come in at 242lbs top. Let's see what happens in 2020 but I'm pretty sure he'll come a cropper before then. I'm 100% confident his reign will be nowhere near Wlads in terms of length.mjones19851 wrote:AJ 2017 is a very young, unexperienced version of whats likely going to be a legend in the future. Of course a Prime Wlad from 2013 has better chances against the unexperienced 2017 AJ Version. If you want to be fair, make it Wlad 2013 vs Joshua 2020, I guess your resume would be different then.Loki wrote:
Not on my card, I had it two each going into the fifth. Fool, I of course meant the 2013 version of Wlad vs a 2017 version of AJ.

I really hope he dominates but the main point is he can be out boxed. If a 41 Klitschko can do it, I'm pretty sure others will be able to as well. And, most HWs can knock out most others.Ruthless-RKO wrote:I agree. Out of interest name who you think would out box Joshua now?Loki wrote:I really hope he dominates but the main point is he can be out boxed. 41 or 21, Wlad was pretty much the best boxer he could face and he didn't completely out box Joshua if we're being realistic.
Early Joshua for activity (your 2 2 rounds is bs)
Mid started Joshua in 5 but then was Wlad.
Late Joshua burst got him out there.
Wlad fought a great fight but Joshua weren't schooled. It was a close fight. Classic youth vs experience situation

Who knows who will appear in the next 6 to 10 years. Wlad did outbox him, no question. The first four rounds were close, but in least two of the rounds Wlad landed the cleaner shots. Rewatch it.
Now, Fury but difficult to gage as Wlad didn't throw a punch and Fury was in shape.

Re: Vitali Klitschko: That Was Wladimir's Best Career Fight
I felt it was a very ebb and flow fight. Joshua started out boxing better. Wlad landed some nice shots, then Joshua dropped him. After Joshua gassed trying to get Wlad out of there, Wlad regained composure and was able to capitalize on Joshua's state at that point in time. But, once Joshua regained composure and found his second wind, he was outboxing Wlad which led to the KO. I love these types of fights. Relatively evenly contested.Loki wrote:Ossyrules wrote:Out of interest name who you think would out box Joshua now?Loki wrote:

I suggest you rewatch it my friend and try taking your I heart Wlad t shirt off when you do it this time.Loki wrote:Ossyrules wrote:Out of interest name who you think would out box Joshua now?Loki wrote:

You say, 41 year old Wlad outboxed him so I'm sure most others could. And most others can knock people out.
But when pushed you say who knows will come along in the next 6 to 10 years, and vaguely allude to fury at the end. Well that answer doesn't really marry up with your statement, at all.
You insist on Wlad out boxing Joshua, but the reality is he didn't, he outboxed in him parts of the fight but was out scored but work rate early and stopped by youth strength and flurry late. The middle of the fight belonged to Wlad. Where he was the boxer. But early, you're the only person I've heard had it 2-2. I'm not gonna go to town on this but the best Wlad took was 3-1. Starting a round with a nice straight right then not Land much for next 2.30 wasn't enough to secure a round. This isn't amateur boxing.
Wlad fought a great fight, and he was the boxer of the two this fight, but he didn't "outbox" Joshua. It was a close fight, that Wlad could have won on another day. Wlad had the better technical fundamentals, but he didn't out box him. Review the whole fight I suggest
