Absolutely he did. Yet another to add to the list of times he's proved it :TU:

This. For the first time in his career he showed real heart. He fought like this was his last chance. Wlad always had a rep as a soft fighter but, for one night, he shed that image and I was impressed.
I know you're trying to praise Wlad here, but you're missing the boat. Wlad has always had incredible heart. His will to win is right up there with the greatest ever in the sport.
Yes the heart was always there this guy just didn't see it or notice it Now he finally does :TU:

True... Wladimir Kiltschko had one of the most amazing hearts of all Heavyweight Champions... In all of his KO losses the referees stopped them with Wladimir fighting to the last gasp and wanting to go on... He was a tremendous natural athlete, but lacked the natural abilities and instincts of a boxer.. He followed his rugged older brother into the sport because he wanted to emulate him.. He became one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time by working his ass off at it day after day -- year after year -- for 3 decades.. I hope he retires right now.. Boxing is very addictive.. It's extremely difficult to quit when you should.

Wlad came back from the dead after those losses to Sanders and Brewster he was dead but look what he did after that total collapse - great inspiration for everyone and anyone - Incredible will and heart - Tyson said it best: "Vitali was the better fighter/Wladimir looked better"
