Jesús Christ, I couldn't stand more than three rounds of that horror show, with the added pain of having to listen to the double death by commentatory team Darren Barker & Adam Smith.

Sorry but Barker sounds as thick as a brick, he can barely string a sentence together, which of course makes him a perfect commentator according to Adam Smith; because he's ONE OF OUR BOYS, and a NICE GUY.

This makes perfect sense, as Smith has a brain the size of the cashew nut. Wonderful

Stinker that one wasn't it?

Parker will definitely need to up his game against better opposition, but in fairness he does have wins over Takam and Ruiz so I think it's fair to say he just wasn't at his best today rather than writing him off completely.

Whyte certainly seems to fancy his chances but I'm not sure I'd take him over Takam or Ruiz, in fact I felt like he was slightly lucky against Del Boy who has definitely seen better days.

Hughie will probably be kicking himself right now, I'm sure he'd back himself to beat the Joseph Parker we saw just now. Whether he would or not is a different matter.

Do people give Bellew a chance? Parker seems to have decent speed while lacking big power at the top level. He's obviously heavier than Bellew but wouldn't have the physical advantages of Wilder or Joshua. Saying that, early signs are that he takes a decent shot so it'd have to be a very impressive 12 round performance from Bellew.

It's sad but true. The commentary was awful. Don't get me wrong there was little to commentate on as each round was largely the same in a monotonous fight.... but even from the early rounds the commentary was as follows:

Smith: "Well, this fight couldn't be more different from the AAAAYYYYYEEEEEE JAAAAYYYYYY - Wlaaaaaaaad fight we witnessed last weeeeeekend!"

Barker: "you'd fink dat e's fighting for the 'eavyweight champeenship; I mean the WBO 'eavyweight champeenship e'd show a bit more ambition'

No analysis. No explanation of how Parker might open up a defensive opponent, what he should do.... just the above every round

Argh i can hear him pronouncing Aaaaaa Jaaaaay in your description there :witzend:

I turned off just after I heard "so Darren does he remind you a little bit of Mike Tyson?"

" yes definitely Adam...ummm he's got the black trunks hasn't he.."

I remember that! And Darren (Butthead) misunderstood whether they were talking about Tua or Parker.... what a scrambled egg of a commentary.... no words for the awfulness

Cojanu could be a decent opponent for Dubois in the next couple of fights.

Poor fight. Cojanu is probably worthy a shot at Wilder now ... *joking

I'd suggest, Parker vs Browne over in Aus/NZ next - give it a big push on PPV and make some loot. Give the fans over there a big contest.

Then come over here or go to the US and throw the dice. Be great money here in the UK against Fury or AJ but I'd heavily favour him to lose. I think even Wilder will be too much for him.

So Parker is pathetic...and Hughie couldn't even face him.

Parker was as poor as I've seen him, but doesn't wanna leave his mums apron strings..leave him to fester in NZ, until he grows a pair.
