Credit the main event for being brilliant,a fair bit of the card was shown for free (including the Uzbeks debut), and allegedly showed it so I'm happy

You have a choice either way sounds like an excuse. We allowed to watch what ever fights we choose at whatever time. My argument is the Porter/Berto was a better card and better value.

The nights best fight was Valdez/marriega.

That made it the better card. Nothing I'd pay for, but better than Berto/porter. Your debating tactics are odd.

Not odd , just hard to understand a card with three predetermine outcomes was a better card but ok. Was Marriaga-Valdez a good fight yes but the fight never in doubt. I'll look for meaningful non predetermine fights that's all but to each its own.

That's the only fight on either card that was ever in doubt.

That fight was never in doubt. Did Marriaga land some hard body shots yes. But the fight never in doubt lets be real. The scorecards tells you that.

Some experts had Marriaga ahead after 7 rounds.

Even then the fight was never in doubt imo. Watching that fight there wasn't one second I though Marriaga was going to win. Was it competive yes but not enough to worry that the apple card would get upset. Good fight though. There were people here who said it was tough fight. It was but no it wasn't 50/50. To me it look like an elite fighter vs a fringe contender. Unless Marriaga was knocking Valdez out he had no chance of winning and to me that's called predetermine outcomes.

Related to the earlier Gradovich debate, he again scraped by in a struggle with a mediocre opponent. It's been 3 years since he beat someone by a method other than MD or SD

I wonder what happened to him. He's struggling with guys well below the level of Billy Dib and Jayson Velez.
