Not that big of a punch.
I think he can punch, he can be explosive, although in all fairness my standards aren't as high as yours, I've noticed that in previous posts of yours, that's not a dig BTW you know your boxing , I think I'm a bit more impressionable than you :TU:
He can definitely punch, just ridiculously overrated after the Stevens fight. Nobody rates shit, overrated is something that is legit. Rubio, Alcine, the guy before Stevens, this guy. He's not a killer.

Class doesn't mean classy where I'm from, it just I'm a fan and I think he's got ability/strengths, although I do think he can put his punches together well as well as getting wild, someone who throws as much in attacks as Lemieux will always get too excited
Fair enough mate. I think he's got a very good punch.
Reyes just has a ridiculous beard backed up by massive heart.

If Golovkin and Canelo move he might be in with a chance of being the man at 160 for a short while , trouble is all the 154 guys moving up would give him kittens... potentially

Yea he's a dangerous opponent..always will be till he's shot but people like Jacobs, Charlo. I think they could handle him.

Lemieux has a really good power, IMO. He sometimes lacks the delivery to get it there to its full effect though. His footwork and setup didn't look at it's best tonight. He did show a lot better stamina than a few years back, and the ability to keep his power thru 10 rounds. I think he got some good work he needed tonight.

Good on you, I hated his dad so I've always kind of cheered him on against the abuse. His PPV's against nobodies were usually entertaining. He may as well be hearns tonight for me.

Jcc Jr by KTFO 1 would be just right for me. A man's got to dream.

Odds down to 3-1 from 12-1.

Alvarez will be too savvy for Chavez Jr and should break him down late , I can't see Chavez having much success if I'm honest, he'll take his lumps for a bit but I doubt he's a durable as he once was even if he is coming in hungry and focused, Canelo's punch precision will be too much

Canelo is at a more natural weight here. I expect him to be more active against a style he will love.

"Odds down to 3-1 from 12-1."

Which makes perfect sense -- if some mob guys are going to break both of Canelo's hands just before his ring walk. Otherwise I don't get it at all.

Chávez Jr. is doing a great jab of blocking Canelo's left hand with his jaw.

10-9 Álvarez
