I was crazy into fitness then. I did hundreds of push ups and sit ups just watching TV along with working out.

The 50 was a one time thing at a party for money. I made like $300.

I'd probably relax the "I'm an expert" thing for a while now.

You need to post a video to YouTube and link it so we know you have actually done them. And you can't do any of these half sit ups with the knees, the ones Chavez did in his training camp.

We all hoped you were going to be right though. There's some smart boys on this site, when they're talking boxing not arguing. There's also some clear ones to avoid. Listen, read a lot, keep watching. It's not a simple sport.

Lol, anyone who thought this would even be a close call is not an expert., Chavez never fought anyone before and never even looked half as classy as Canelo does every time he fights. Everyone already knew the result for this and it was just a warm up for the big one in september canelo golovkin.

ah don't worry about it. It's not really a big deal. I recall years back I was certain Vargas would beat Fishnets. It was a humbling experience to say the least.

I hope Canelo v JCC Jr turns out to be a good fight for our Mexican friends as well as us, they now have centre stage so lets see what they deliver.
The big question is Chavez Jr isn't it ?
We all know Canelo by now and are aware of his power and his general boxing skills improvement over the last couple of years.
Chavez Jr who has participated in some entertaining fights has also been burdened by a lack of motivation, hopefully on the big stage he can up his game and spirit and make this something to remember.
This is the fight that i circled as soon as i heard it because i think that this one is going to be a war. I predict that the fight will closely resemble Cotto/Margarito 1. I see Canelo landing dazzling combinations throughout but JCCJR will keep coming forward and he's eventually going to catch up to Canelo and we'll see how Canelo finishes that fight. I can see JR getting beaten badly early and being down huge on cards late when all the excitement will begin in the 11th and 12th.
NO WAR HERE!! ... This is going to be a mugging not a contest.
I'll admit when i've been brainwashed and duped. They got me. This fight was nothing but a money grab for JCCJR and he should be docked money for the performance he put up inside that ring last night.

Obviously, JCCJR's fight was making the weight and keeping all of the money he had coming to him. After he made that weight, that was the end of the goal for him. NOTHING BUT A MONEY GRAB. How anyone can go into a fight like that and not throw punches is beyond me. They should have stopped the fight after the 3rd round and saved us all the frustration. Horrible night for the sport.

What an embarasament JCCJR is

Really thought he was up for this & was going to bring a fight to Canelo

All it was was a payday for Chavez Jr & he looked useless & I doubt he even cares

Sergio Martinez won 9-10 rounds on the scorecards against JCC Jr.. You probably should've predicted that Alvarez would've achieved something similar to that.

I don't understand junior, the only thing he needed to do was keeping the red guy on distance, while having the reach advantage. The only thing he did somehow was bending forward and protect his body, while his face was hitted every couple of seconds. He took the beat well, but it was like he fully accepted it. Like he was testing his chin or something. Afterwards it gave me the feeling like they followed a script, like this was just an excusefight before a big fight. Like he was planned to lose to make the redhead look good.

All he had to do really was go down like the warrior he was billed as and people would have been fine. He just didn't try and even said after he was scared to throw punches cause of the counters. Ok, so the guys better then you and winning every round, just go for it then, take one to land one. Hell take two to land one. Just do something, Mexican boxing ios famous for the warrior mentality. He really let his country down.

There was no script or rig. He is just not that good a fighter, he never has been. He was pushed on cause of his father that's all. Tons of much better boxers in the gym probably. He was massive underdog in this fight. No one expected him to win. But they expected him to try and fight and he decided not to.

Ya never know. I think some fights are rigged by smart promoters. Not in a criminal way. It's in the match up. Such as Canelo vs. Jr.

Chavez Jr. isn't very good. And everyone involved capitalizes On The Son Of A Legend.
