This becomes a really good card. Who have you gotten?

Saw this today on SSN. I thought it was already confirmed. Surely it has to be Groves time now! He'll probably not get a better chance again!

This was news like a week ago wasn't it? Is it an official announcement ?
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Groves wide decision
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Groves to win by decision.
Always rated George groves and have to confess am a big fan. Supported him vs chunky and was rooting for him vs Froch. He's got good skills, variety, power, but also vulnerable at times.
He's world champ quality imo and chudinov won't have enough to stop him this fight. Expect the groves jab and heavy right hands to dominate this fight

Chudinov needs a KO to win. He is not getting a decision in England, and I doubt that he will get a KO if Groves is cautious. The only question I have is if Groves really wins or gets a gift.
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Interesting- is the judging over here seen as being that bad? Or just he'd need to rip the title away fighting in U.K. (Obviously its vacant but you get me)boxing_rocks wrote:Chudinov needs a KO to win. He is not getting a decision in England,

It is as bad as TV commentating.Wales wrote:Interesting- is the judging over here seen as being that bad?boxing_rocks wrote:Chudinov needs a KO to win. He is not getting a decision in England,

That's gotten better now they're slowly phasing out the "old school jobs for boys brigade"boxing_rocks wrote:It is as bad as TV commentating.Wales wrote:Interesting- is the judging over here seen as being that bad?boxing_rocks wrote:Chudinov needs a KO to win. I agree with the poster who said commentary is improving. Jim watt, mccory etc were biased but Froch, malignaggi etc are better.
Hope you get the robbery you want to prove your point
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Chudinov is rather mediocre, but Groves has been insanely inconsistent since getting Cobra'd. It's a pick-em, but I'd go with Groves.
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Hope so. I reckon it'll be tighter. Groves has an uncanny knack of making things difficult.crusader wrote:Groves wide decision
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
He's been winning pretty comfortably against EBU level opposition, and I don't think Chudinov is much better than that.
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Good addition to the card
Re: Groves vs Chudinov added to Brook vs Spence card
Think Groves will be too big. He seems to have a habit of making things difficult for himself but I think he'll pull off an 8-4 type points win.

I am not banging any drums. Just stating facts. In order to win in UK, a foreigner needs to win at least 9 rounds out of 12. There may be some exceptions for high profile guests, but Chudinov is not one of them.Ossyrules wrote:You still banging that drumboxing_rocks wrote:Chudinov needs a KO to win.
