Boxing DVD Site

Post by pm »

Any of you guys had any dealings with this site before?

http://www.classicfights.co.uk

I ordered a DVD 2 weeks ago, haven't recieved it and have had no reply to an e-mail querying it. Just wondering if anyone has encountered anything similar - ie should I wave goodbye to that money?

if you ever enquire if he's got this fight or that fight, he won't answer. i know he gets a shitload of orders and it could probably take him three days or a month. he advertises in the back of boxing monthly, i think? likely you'll get it in the end, but don't expect him to fill you in with details

He isn't a fraudster PM i have brought stuff off him in the past. I just think as my friend already said the guy is always seriously busy and even wrote an apology i remember in BM when he couldn't keep up with orders.

I've bought DVD's off him recently. He takes about ten days or so to get the DVDs to you. Like you, I e-mailed him to ask "have you sent them?" and got no reply. Anyway almost as soon as a hit "send mail" the postman arrived with my package!

I've ordered via the web site AND via post from his catalogue. As far as I know you can't get the "Four DVDs for £30" and "Five for ...etc etc" deals over the website (I might be wrong on that point).... the only "niggle" I have had is that I THINK I ordered Acelino Frietas Vol 2 and it was Vol 1 that arrived. It might be that I filled the form in wrongly, so I won't give him a "negative" on that point...and to be fair, Vol 1 is quite good anyway! Waiting for re-ordered Vol 2 to arrive....!

Hope this helps.

I got that set from him. Also got the "Thunder" DVD that has the first two Ward fights but also Gatti vs Ruelas, Ivan Robinson (that was some fight!), ODLH and Terron Millett.

I did say "about ten days" in my earlier post but thinking about it afterwards, it was more like two full weeks for the last bulk order.

Anyway, hope they arrive!
