SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Evening lads, just finished watching the presser/head2head the size difference between the two is crazy do you give Khurtsidze a realistic chance I think BJS will win on points may not be comfortable

Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Khurtsidze is a very likeable person but Bill is going to beat him comfortably
Khurtsidze will be game though

Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Ya, that's the typical height difference you see in Khurtsidze fights. He's used to fighting much taller guys, but they aren't used to fighting guys that much shorter...
It's a fight BJS should win if he's on form, but if he's out of shape again it could be a very tough night....he still looks chubby

Pathetic antics seems a bit harsh, unless there's more than in that video gone on.Counter-puncher wrote:yupcrusader wrote:Ya, that's the typical height difference you see in Khurtsidze fights. He's used to fighting much taller guys, but they aren't used to fighting guys that much shorter...

Saunders boxes this guy for a comfortable decision
Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Avtandil Khurtsidze was arrested in New York last night and charged in racketeering and fraud.

I guess BJS clash is off.

Hmmm, everything else seems right though. Nicknamed the 'Kickboxer' on the Dept of Justice release, and listed as Brooklyn which I think is where he trains? Hell of a coincidence if not him.BitPlayer wrote:It says there he's 33, boxrec lists him as 38.Tarkus wrote:Avtandil Khurtsidze was arrested in New York last night and charged in racketeering and fraud.

That will be a blow, BT Sport/FW and Co have done a decent job of selling this fight. I know a load of lads who have bought tickets, I didn't bother but feel for them.Boxerbeetle wrote:Hmmm, everything else seems right though. Would imagine show will go ahead but BJS fights another joker ?
Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Show still going ahead as per FW statement. Can't blame promoter on this one, not much you can do when the opponent is arrested for being part of a huge crime ring!chrisnew86 wrote:That will be a blow, BT Sport/FW and Co have done a decent job of selling this fight. Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
He's got a dodgy look about him the little Georgian dude. Not surprised he's up to no good
Step forward Tommy Langford

Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Langford would be game but wbo won't sanction it with him coming off a loss. Martin Murray would be a good replacement if he's kept himself ticking over

Re: SAUNDERS v KHURTSIDZE
Could they draft Arnfield in ? He's supposed to be fighting in July but hasn't got an opponent yet.
Haven't seen much of him myself but from what I have seen I don't think he'd trouble Bill. Still it'd be better than some Latvian roadsweeper who noone's ever heard of.

This genuinely isn't Franks fault. Even his harshest critics can't blame him for causing a huge crime syndicate to form in New York.

I'd like to see him still fight on that date, even if it's just an easy one. He needs to get active again.
