Undefeated . . . But Not For Long: Ibragimov-Brock

Post by E »

According to Fightnews, on June 24th, there is a good show pitting Timur Ibragimov (cousin of Sultan) and Calvin Brock.

Alongside this there is Joel Julio (27-0, 24 KOs) vs Carlos Quintana (22-0, 18 KOs.)

I like the Ibragimov - Brock match - very interesting and will produce a topcontender for one of the world titles.

Sultan battered Montee Barret is was painful for him, Sultan impressed me alot with his power, accuracy and willingness to get stuck in.

Brock will win this by wide UD

Sultan Ibragimov vs Brock will probably the best heavyweight fight for years imo, both wouldnt like to lose their 0. Quality matchup :TU:

i've seen quintana fight a few times on ESPN - he's good boxer - likes to use the ring and he's a southpaw. I've heard some good things about joel julio but never seen him fight.... anyone got any info?

Nice to see Brock being kept fairly active in decent matches. As said, Sultan would be a tougher prospective opponent.

Always good to see undefeated fighters face off - shows that their managers have confiudence in their charges.
Its for that reason I think Roman Greenburg will never come to anything. If he was good enough he would have been unleashed on stearner opposition by now..
