Ryan Walsh vs Marco McCullough

Walsh defending his British Featherweight title against McCullough on the undercard of Liam's fight with Davis on Saturday, on paper it looks like a routine defence for Ryan to get back to winning ways after the European title loss to Ceylan, McCullough carries decent power but is vulnerable and can be stopped, he cant seem to take that step up, Ryan isn't a big puncher but if he can find the target accurately then he can get guys out of there, Walsh is a level above McCullough and I fancy him to stop Marco about the 5th/6th, McCullough does have a punchers chance and he'll go for it but Walsh should bamboozle him before getting him out of there

Walsh to win from 8-10. Volume of punches will see him stop mccullough. Walsh has a good chin. Selby caught him clean plenty of times and he never looked fazed

McCullough can be awkward and Walsh looked out of ideas against Ceylan. Lowe looked to be getting the better of Ceylan. Lowe might be a level above Walsh. I wouldn't hold the other stoppage against Marco, anyone can be caught cold. Look at Badou Jack for example.

McCullough seemed to be improving then got chinned an absolute peach by some Latvian I think it was. Horrific KO. Not seen much of him since but he's got a few wins since then. Might be dangerous early bells but Walsh is tough enough to see off any early pressure and stop him midway I reckon.

I thought the knockdown Walsh scored early against Ceylan was the worst thing that could have happened for Walsh once it became clear he wasn't going to stop Ceylan in the first few rounds - Walsh seemed to spend the rest of the fight looking for another big shot rather than trying to outbox Ceylan, which in my view he could have done. I'd be surprised if he made the same mistake here - think he will have learnt a lot from that fight.
