Danny Williams vs Andreas Sidon result
Hi Boxrec,
please can you guys add to Dannys record a side note that his loss to Sidon was stopped on a cut from a head clash. I will upload the video and post a link in a minute to prove it.

Why is the Danny Williams vs Edgars Kalnars fight not listed?
I heard that because boxrec didn't record this fight because the EBU no longer recognise the Latvian Baltic League. I have raised an issue with you previously that you included an exhibition on Dannys record vs Mairis Briedis which was fought under the Baltic boxing league and you refused to take it down as the Baltic league had just lied and called it a real fight. I was told you don't trust them yet you took their word for it. Now you refuse to put a fight on Dannys record that was a legit fight in Latvia. Danny battered the guy for 4 rounds and won on points. I will include some footage. Please do your job and put the fight up. If you don't include it because the EBU don't recognise the Baltic boxing league then you should take the Mairis Briedis fight down too as it was also sanctioned by the same commission.

Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
Hi boxrec,
This fight is wrongly listed as a KO. Williams was stopped on his feet and was a TKO. He has never been counted out. Only ever stopped on his feet. Please correct this, thanks.

Give it up Danny!

Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
Don't commission rules vary on what constitutes a KO vs a TKO? Do the rules in this case make it clear that it should've been the latter?

Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
Mods - Is there any way we can spam the forum with a question about everyone of Danny Williams' fights?
For example Williams won when N'Gou retired with a hurt arm - but its listed on Boxrec as a TKO.... is that correct?
Also I noticed there's no exact time for the Konstantin Airich win? Can we get that changed please?

Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
The official commission report from BDB states KO2. Williams got suspended for 6 weeks with this note: "Danny Williams subject to detailed medical/neurological documentation before next fight"
Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
What's the connection to Danny?
And Id be inetreted in what he gets paid for these fight. Anybody speculate?

Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
He weighed 252 last time out. I'm sure he was in the 290s a few fight ago. Has he lost a limb?
Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
So it depends on the local commission rules as to how a fight is classified in terms of KO or TKO?
In the UK I have noticed if a fighter goes down and the referee waves off the fight before the 10 count is completed then this seems to be classified as a TKO, whereas in other parts of the world this is often classified as a KO.
For example Callum Smith is down as having a TKO win over Luke Blackledge when in reality that looks to me like a KO win as there is no way Blackledge was going to get up before the end of a 10 count.

Re: Danny Williams vs Adrian Granat correction
A KO is when someone is out for the count of ten or when the ref doesn't bother counting because the fighter is clearly not getting up. So the commission wrote it down wrong as Danny was on his feet and so it's a technical knockout. Just because they wrote it wrong does that mean boxrec should too?Freiheit wrote:The official commission report from BDB states KO2. You're a troll, the questions I asked were legit, you do know this forum is for any fighter and not just top active fighters. There's questions asked about even southern area level boxers who may of had a handful of fights. If you don't like it, get the hell out of here.
And FYI if boxrec makes a mistake it should be changed especially when they contradict their own criteria. Unfortunately it seems they can't admit to mistakes.

It's called training. Some fights he got on short notice and some he got notice.

You'd get one faster if you posted this info in the Record Queries and Updates sectiondawudboxer wrote:I'm still waiting on a reply boxrec!
