Btw, I actually think Spong looks OK but he hasn't fought anybody of any worth and until he does, he's irrelevant. Nobody's refusing to fight him, they've never heard of him.

That's exactly what I'm saying, he can't find anyone who dares to fight him, especially after David Gogishvili, only Hugo Leon made that mistake.

Surprisingly I just noticed Spong is going to fight 26 may, I didn't see this fight scheduled 2 days ago and there's a fair chance the fight won't happen anyway, just like on several other occasions where he got scheduled on short notice. On the same undercard guys like Zhilei Zhang and Mike Balogun (who would both be far more logical fights) avoid him.

I think deep down he knows this, so god knows how much more of his sh*t we'll have to listen too to compensate for it

I think you're right. He is so injury prone now. He got people interested by blowing out two mugs.... everyone (including himself) thought he was going to batter Bellend.... then get a shot at Joshua for a huge payday win or lose. But the plan went wrong and now the road back is tricky and I think Haye is struggling financially... divorce, high standard of living.....

In boxing and especially heavyweights you are only one big win from being back in the mix but in this case - who?
