Great gesture by the board.
My mate, Tijuana1 has just had a cheque in the post after all the trouble he's had recently. They're not all bad.

All the regulars on here know what I'm on about, dickhead. He's given the board enough stick recently, just levelling it up.TheLeprechaun wrote:Thanks for the detailed information.

Yes, go on then. My mate has just fought cancer off, somebody in the board knew and he got a goodwill gesture from them. He's been highly critical of them in the past.boxingknockout wrote:Can someone elucidate on this mystery!??!

The Board have had a benevolent fund for very many years. They have a committee who are responsible for making payments to ex boxers who have fallen on hard times. I make the odd charitable donation to this fund from time to time and I would encourage others to do the same. It is a charitable cause that we can all relate to.

There isn't anything negative is there? Just people with no idea what you meant asking for clarity.mickey1975 wrote:Can't believe how much negative poo this has attracted.

Really? You posted a cryptic comment that unless people live on the board 24/7 makes no sense & so people asked what you were on about. It was you getting upset that made it negative.mickey1975 wrote:Can't believe how much negative poo this has attracted.

All regulars know what you're on about which is why the thread has so few replies? Nobody had a clue what you were on about mate

I'm not your mate. I don't live my life by how many replies I get. Coco and Oli replying once meant a lot more than all yours.

Fair play mate. Giving it large on an internet forum.mickey1975 wrote:I'm not your mate. I don't live my life by how many replies I get. Coco and Oli replying once meant a lot more than all yours.
In fairness if you'd given a bit more information in the original post this wouldnt have happened. I was perhaps a bit overly sarcastic. Let's both learn from this mate.

How did this thread end up in this state ?
Sounds like it was a positive story, with in a few posts its turned into a bitching contest
Well done
