Just an idea I was having after clicking on my just giving app a minute ago and remembering how many Boxreckers donated to the hospice I was raising money for last year.
On the just giving page you can set up a team fundraising page where you set up multiple individual pages and link them together as a team with a group monetary target, but each donation is registered against the individual that it was donated to and shows on their own page.
you don't all have to be doing the same event.
Would anyone be interested in organising various separate boxrec member fund raising tasks / events and trying to link them together on a team page to try and raise money for charity. e.g. Team Boxrec.
Everyone can choose their own particular charity close to their hearts but it gives a leaderboard and group total raised.
as team boxrec we might be able to get some trending on social media through the boxing community, might even be able to get the site to sort us out some boxrec t-shirt for when we are taking part or training etc. Could get a blog going as well.
