Floyd came across terribly, just so full to the brim of ego and his own self-importance.
Pretty much just mentioned himself and his own career every time he opened his mouth.
Typically crass, just as to be expected from him.You can`t buy class.
Can Floyd even read or write ?

Frustrates me I wanted to hear Tank talk find out what his personality is like but Mayweather just kept on rambling on about his investmentsrpms wrote:Floyd came across terribly, just so full to the brim of ego and his own self-importance.

Re: Mayweather acting like a fool
The brilliant Floyd Mayweather has zero charm when he's giving the brash trash talk, that's the trouble. At least Nas was funny
Re: Mayweather acting like a fool
To be fair to Floyd, all media questions were to him and even Rawlings questions were mostly directed at Floyd.
Davis' personality will come out in time, it's pretty obvious where he's come from so good for him for having a way out, I kept thinking about The Wire anytime he talked. And good on/for him... he's being backed by a master media manipulator, one of the best boxers of all time who has earned hundreds and hundreds of millions - he'll learn to be a player from someone who has mastered it.
I can take Floyd with a pinch of salt personally so loved today.

Floyd is a fornicating dummy and his banta is dog shit. He was lecturing Walsh about money, I'd bet 20 years from now Walsh will have more and Floyd will be broke ass.

Re: Mayweather acting like a fool
Ryan and Michael are always the same. Couple of loud mouths. Both them and Floyd came over terrible.. It's not banter in the slightest.. Liam is a class act though stays calm does his own thing.. Tank laughing thinking it is going to be easy.. He is no Lomachenko he's a good level fighter with good power.. Liam is similar in that sense. Annoys me in boxing it's like calling each other names and hiding behind the security. I understand Liam is there brother and you get hepped up but let Liam deal with it.. TWT is brilliant to they had WB before just love to copy.

Floyd needs to step back & let Davis have his moment
Kept lurching in like a div in the open workout & then stole limelight at presser
Nearly as bad as Eubank Snr

FMJ, obnoxious pr!ck that he is, brings major attention to a fight that would be pretty matter of fact without his presence. I submit this thread as evidence.Oiky wrote:Floyd needs to step back & let Davis have his moment

FMJ still brings haters to the table, even when he isn't fighting. Now it is up to GTank to capitalize on the attention. If Walsh can pull this off, he has also benefitted from the spotlight that follows FMJ around.

Re: Mayweather acting like a fool
Mayweather knows how to sell a fight and his arrogance and trash talking is a big part of that. Saying that, when Floyd isn't speaking for him, Davis actually seems like a likeable kid. Would be good if Floyd let that side of Davis show itself more, rather than prompting him into calling Walsh a bum at every opportunity.

For all his dough & great things he's achieved, I bet there is 1 or 2 who might stick by him if it all went wrong, probably family
The rest would drop him in a second
