Crawford calls out Thurman & Pac

Post by Jip »

I mean pac is just a money fight, he 100 years old.

Thurman vs Crawford, what would happen, is tc chin good enough, can he improve his power coming to ww?

I think he would be goid at ww, good at beating midgets like timmy or broner, but if we talk about him against the top ww like brook.spence and thurman, than i see him losing against all 3.

He'd thoroughly defeat Thurman.

There's serious depth at welterweight and Crawford will add to that nicely. Happy days!

And how do you think he would do that?

The Indongo deserves his shot.

Thurman/Crawford makes all the sense in the world at this. I hope it happens. And if we get it before years end, I'll be a happy man.

I feel Crawford is the better fundamental fighter. But Thurman is the more powerful. Although, I do think people underrated his skill level a bit. It would be interesting. Crawford's willingness to dog it out at times makes this a great match up.

The Once Upon A Time fight will not happen this year, given Thurman's health issue. Terrence "Hitman Jr" Crawford should give The Indongo his shot and target someone like Lamont Peterson or Danny or maybe Matthysse for his welter coming out party.

Why not Pacquiao? He looked very good his last time out, and didn't look like he lost anything. It would be an interesting match-up, although Roach will do whatever he can to avoid Crawford. When Floyd was 38 and 39 people like you and others on here were bitching because he wouldn't face the best. Poor Manny gets a pass though. If Pac is still good enough to be considered a top 5 welterweight, and should fight someone decent. Not Horn, Bradley again, Rios, Vargas, etc.

Crawford will face Indongo next, unless Arum sets up him vs Pac for the end of the year. He may be ready for his new cash cow to take over.

After all why not. But id prefer indongo, later thurman or spence as future opponents, rather than pac. Manny still fast and good stamina, but somehow lost his punching power, which is crucial in a fight with crawford.

Mayweather was still the man at that age, p4p number one, to be the best in boxing you had to beat Floyd

Pacquaio on the other hand is still good but has clearly decline and is probably 6/7 years past his best now. To be the best even at just one division (147) you don't have to beat Pacquaio imo. Thurman, brook and possibly spence are running the division now

So whilst you've taken your shot to big up Floyd and do over Pacquaio, your comparison doesn't stack up

Crawford vs Thurman

Boxing skills and talent go to Crawford

Size and power go to Thurman

If that fight was to be made I'm 65/35 for Crawford
