Rarly have i seen a guy in smaller division with such ferocious power. When starts with those wild hooks and touches you it's close to being over.
I dont care what anybody says and yes he is green but tank should face the king asap!!!
Just said on another thread that I'd love to see him and Loma ASAP. You need to strike while the iron is hot in this game. It doesn't need to wait it's a fantastic fight right now.Jip wrote:![]()

How is Davis to face Lomo will end his career before it evens starts. Get couple of better wins and then maybe go at Lomo.Stuarty30 wrote:Just said on another thread that I'd love to see him and Loma ASAP. You need to strike while the iron is hot in this game. Ya, I noticed that people on the RBR thread were describing it as if it was being contested on even terms, but I thought it was apparent fairly quickly that it was Davis's fight. Walsh is an okay fighter, but never better than EBU level for me...Tanzio wrote:That was not "atg power" type stuff yesterday. That was more like clubbing a baby seal to death.
Beltran displayed impressive power last night.
GTank is good and he has decent club. He has top level quickness but his skills aren't there yet, and may never be at a level that could give Lomassiah trouble.
I have to say that (after watching it twice) Walsh's boxing level was revealed more than GTank's. Liam was out of his depth, by fathoms. GTank had no respect for him at all.
On B&I rbr a few people had the first two rounds close and saw little difference in levels going into the third. I honestly think that GTank could have disposed of Walsh at will.
However, if GTank fought Lomassiah next the result would likely resemble the Hitman Jr v Felix Diaz massacre last night.
puny ????????? , he's built like a friggin tank !SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very good fighter, but he's puny for 130.

Me neither, not since Pacquiao's pre-random testing era. (his prime)
Yeah I was saying the same thing. A few people are talking about seeing Davis move up to Lightweight, but he needs to stay at 130 for as long as he possibly can because he's small even for that weight class. There's absolutely no way he'd be able to handle the size difference beyond Lightweight, and even Lightweight might be too much.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very small jr lightweight.rd350lc wrote:puny ????????? , he's built like a friggin tank !SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very good fighter, but he's puny for 130.
He could make feather without any trouble. Aaron Pryor type situation.gilgamesh wrote:Yeah I was saying the same thing. That was just different calibration on scales. It was 2 ounces.gilgamesh wrote:Supposedly he needed to weigh in 3 times to make 130 yesterday, looking at him I have a hard time believing he can't make 130 with ease, he's very young maybe he just still hasn't mastered making weight right on just yet.
Cleverly was never any good... Never had any power. Never had any technique... He was another Hilmer Kenty... another John Stracey... another Paul Pendercpfc_fan wrote:Davis did look good, but aligning him with anything "ATG" is a bit premature.
This is not the first time a FW fighter built a seemingly good record before coming unstuck when an elite level fighter arrived (Cleverly vs Kovalev springs to mind).
Davis may well go on to be a fabulous world champion, but drawing "ATG" conclusions from this alone is a bit much.
I don't think that he is undersized for super feather. He is about Pac's size, and most of the players at 130. He would have to be special to move up though.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very small jr lightweight.rd350lc wrote:puny ????????? , he's built like a friggin tank !SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very good fighter, but he's puny for 130.
If he's not smaller, Walsh is massive.Tanzio wrote:I don't think that he is undersized for super feather. He is about Pac's size, and most of the players at 130. He would have to be special to move up though.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very small jr lightweight.rd350lc wrote:

I didn't see the same massive size difference. Height, yes, but I thought GTank looked more burley, muscular, and his reach seemed about equal. But, who knows?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:If he's not smaller, Walsh is massive.Tanzio wrote:I don't think that he is undersized for super feather. He is about Pac's size, and most of the players at 130. I'd say he isn't that much smaller than Lomachenko if that.Tanzio wrote:I don't think that he is undersized for super feather. He is about Pac's size, and most of the players at 130. He would have to be special to move up though.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Very small jr lightweight.rd350lc wrote:
