Very good performance by Crawford, IMO his best win so far

Crawford proved he's the real deal. Diaz may be the second best 140 pounder after T.C. I'm very impressed with T.C ring I.Q and skills. :TU:

Crawford reminds me alot of Pernell Whitaker. Might not be as defensively flashy but he he does alot similar things that resemble Whitaker. No doubt Crawford is the real deal, would love to see him move up to 147 and mix it with the talent at 147, since it's clearly a more interesting and competitive division than 140.

Crawford is so good that if he doesn't take a risk and fight a brand name soon, he could start losing some fans. No one wants to watch him dominate a Diaz, Molina, Lundy or Jean anymore. I know Diaz was a "credible" and durable challenger but we've had enough showcase fights now for Crawford and that's all that was last night. I'm ok with Crawford having one more easy fight to grab all 4 belts but after that, he needs to have a PPV type challenger and take it to the next level.

How amazing would a Crawford/Spence Jr fight be? Epic. Even a Crawford/Thurman would be a PPV bonanza. Crawford was 157 pounds last night so he's obviously killing himself to make 140. He needs to move up to WW within the next 2 fights or the fans will begin to leave.

I really thought Diaz would test Crawford more, but hats off to him for dominating him. I thought Diaz was like a smaller version of Porter, and would cause some problems inside. Very impressive performance from Crawford. It would be fun to see him vs Amir Khan after he beats Indongo. I think Roach will steer Pac clear of him if he can.

Probably right up there with his domination of Postol...I put those 2 as his career best outings!!

Crawford is NOTHING like Pernell Whitaker.. If that were Oscar out there he would have been destroyed.. Pernell couldn't punch.. And Pernell got tagged up.. And Pernell was a little shorty who liked to sit on his feet at times.. Some of the things Hunter provides are flash and dash and KO power.. Pernell liked to stand around a lot and try to get you to throw -- since he thought it was your obligation to make a fight happen..

And don't worry.. Hunter has his sites set on 147.. Now that the slew of pathetic, feather hitting duckers at Welter have retired ... or are about to retire..

... or possibly float off into the ether like Amir Khan.
