Does DeGale not have a mandatory next?

I'd rather see DeGale take care of whoever the mandatory is then fight Groves if he beats Chudinov. Eubank is a good watch but he needs to wrap the constant bollock talk and fight some guys of a decent level.

The winner of Uzcategui v Dirrell was supposed to be mandatory.

So I'm guessing that it is Dirrell even in the circumstances of how the fight finished.

We got a source for this? I can't see anything about this anywhere.

Doubt it happens, either way.

Its a boxing mismatch skillwise so can only think the Eubanks hope that Degale skives in the mid rounds and Jr can outwork him. I can't see Eubank landing nearly regularly enough to put a dent in Chunky
Jr has been banging on about how he is world class, well now we get a chance to find out if he is right or not.

It makes perfect sense, great fight if it happens
Hmm maybe so and I'd definitely watch but personally don't think Eubank deserves the shot and the way he and Senior badmouthed Degale after the Quinlon fight I'd have thought Chunky would tell them to do one, he has a mandatory and unfinished business with Groves, he doesn't need the Eubanks and all the hassle entailed. They'll probably call it a unification knowing them! I wasn't expecting Degale to fight again until late Autumn this year after his struggle against Jack and his nose op and if Groves has won the WBA during that time then surely that would be the obvious next step?

Tricky one for Degale, he needs to be sharp for the final 4 rounds of this fight as Eubank comes on strong in the later rounds. I'd even say that Eubank is capable of a late stoppage even after being outboxed for most of the fight.

Eubank can't outbox DeGale and he can't knock him out. Only chance is to outwork him, but I'd be more than confident enough to say that DeGale would have far too much for him.

Is this just based on Twitter rumours?

I'll believe this fight happens when I see it.

If this fight happens next, I will be amazed.

Mainly due to Team Eubank. The way they ducked GGG when they had the chance, then set up a low-risk ITV PPV opponent demonstrates their career plan to me. Cash in on the Eubank name, and pretend everybody else is hiding from them.

How can this not be made?

Senior said that he would give the option for jack or degale to choose who wanted to fight junior! For some crazy reason they ignored this question and neither chose! English then came out and said they therefore choose James degale!

These words were as good as a contract for me!! Well I never!
