If he gets matched with Porter, Thurman, Brook, Spence over the next 2-3 years then great. Vargas and Peterson will be similar victims. Love Bradley but I think we've seen his best.
Bud and Bradley are friends. That will never happen.

I'm talking about the other champs... Santa Cruz, Selby, Mares, and top contenders like Frampton if he's ready to go and Quigg. Screw 'em. They won't fight

And he didn't get punched for entertainment value.. He wasn't knocked down, hurt, or staggered, and he was murdering this kid who had NEVER been stopped.
What evidence do you have of that? The only "top level" guy that TRex Jr has faced, handled him easily. That "top level" guy was fighting his third fight. TRex Jr had fought nobody of note in a five year plus career prior to Lomassiah. Since then he has continued to fight no hopers and euro level boxers.

Stop with your everybody fears TRex Jr fantasy. Mares fears no one. LSC has had a series of top level fights. Frampton has moved up. Quigg fears no one.

If you have a problem with the situation take it up with Team TRex Jr. They made their own nest.
BOXING made Russell's nest... Al Haymon and BOXING!!! ... Lomachenko would KO any Featherweight but Russell -- but Loma ALSO couldn't get fights with Santa Cruz, Mares, Cuellar or any other top Featherweight to save his life except Russell... So throw the Lomachenko fight out because he's far and away the best boxer on the planet and he can also hit... There's a reason Santa Cruz, Cuellar, Mares, Selby, and Frampton are ducking Russell and that because they CAN!!!

There is no right way. It should be some combination of the last few years of a resume, domination in a weight class and eye test.

eye test should trump resume if resume is facts and eye test is opinion.

Is Canelo beating Trout and Lara or Ward beating Kovalev fact? It is on paper, but should it bump the "winners" up? Also with the best not having to fight the best and so many avoided fighters, resume is not always a good and never the only criteria.

Scream all night and all day if you like, TRex Jr has underachieved. Only relatively recently did he finally get it through his head that he needed to test himself. Hopefully he will get matches with top level guys coming up.

Lomassiah is not the best boxer on the planet.

Loma is the best ever... Russell is the best Featherweight on the planet and has been more than willing to prove it... None of the top guys want him.

How about we let Lomassiah show us that he is the best boxer at 130 at the moment before making him the GOAT of all GOATS? :maybe:

With other 130 champions preferring to not mention his name, how can he do that?

He's done that to my satisfaction. Do you have a 130-pounder ranked ahead of him??? ... And if you know Boxing and have studied the greatest boxers ever: The Gene Tunney's... the Willie Pep's... The Floyd Mayweather's... The Salvador Sanchez's... The Jack Johnson's... The Eder Jofre's... The Charlie Burley's... The Ezzard Charles's... The Ray Leonard's... The Larry Holmes's... The Roberto Duran's... The Harold Johnson's... The Tommy Loughran's... The Guillermo Rigondeaux's... The Terence Crawford's... The Andre Ward's... The Bernard Hopkins's... The Roy Jones's and so on down the line...

When you look closely at the greatest masters who ever entered a ring -- then you have to admit that none of them took the caliber of undefeated boxer that was Nicholas Walters and Gary Russell, and mastered them the way Lomachenko did..

You would have to site an example of where one of the greatest boxers to ever perform did as well as Loma against that caliber of boxer... I haven't seen it... When Salvador Sanchez fought a Ruben Castillo we had a tough fight... When Larry Holmes fought a Tim Witherspoon we had a tough fight... When Ward fought Kovalev you we had a highly disputed result... When Floyd Mayweather fought a Miguel Cotto he got popped in the snoot with some very sweet jabs - I must say ... Russell and Walters have that weapon polished up as well as Cotto had his jab going, but nothing doing for them.

Some of the lists make a lot more sense than others -- to be sure
