Brook v Spence Betting

Post by fightfan95 »

Are you going to have a bet on this? Have you seen any good bets?

I've seen Brook to win in rounds 6-12 or on points for 1/1

Spence to win by decision with no knockdowns for 3/1

If you want a longshot... Both fighters to be knocked down and the fight to go the distance and Brook win for 80/1

It's 80/1 for a reason mate. More chance of being hit by a bus crossing the road, save your money

I might have a bet on a Spence KO rounds 4-6. I want Brook to win but I fear the worst.

Has Spence ever been buzzed or knocked down does anyone know? He looks pretty solid.

No, he's never really lost a round. I like that bet. I think kells cut and Errol's talent is the perfect storm for something destructive.

Yes I saw someone mention he was buzzed in the Lartey fight.. he's rocked by a perfect shot, but recovers very well. Shows a good chin I think

spence to finish the fight in the 2nd half, those long arms of his coupled with a good body attack could be a nightmare for brook, and brook aint getting through 12 rounds with his eye socket holding up either

If lartey threw a right hand behind that hook the fight would probably have been over. Spence looked like he was a punch away from going down there

Spence isn't lucky per se, that that punch landing with 7 seconds of a round left, but it'd be interesting to see a bit more of his survival instincts with a minute or so to go.

As for "perfect" shot, he got caught by a fairly straight forward left to the body right over the top

pretty sure spence went on the bike for the rest ofthat fight tho. and hasnt been near a puncher since. i think that facing these light punchers might have given him too much confidence in his attacking style, much like khan.....and we all knowwhat happened there..
even tho bundu was short and short armed , he did manage to land on spence at times, but the lack of power meant spence wasnt deterred.
al bernstein noted that spence comes in square on at times, so brook can take advantage, and he does have power.
with hills, brook to stop spence in the first five rounds are good prices.

I've felt that too and he reminds me a bit of Eubank Jr. when he's up close and letting his punches go. I feel he's still largely untested so I'll go with Brook. Brook via stoppage is 5/1 at Sky which is tempting.
