Andrew Selby vs Cristofer Rosales

Post by handsofstone »

On this Friday on Channel 5 , just had a look at Rosales's record, looks decent on paper, he took Kal Yafai the 8 round distance a few years back and he also KO'd Yader Cardoza in a round, Cardoza just gave Jamie Conlan a tough fight a lot of people had him winning, might be the toughest test of Selby's career so far

Selby is a quality operator though his footwork is beautiful to watch, one of the best footwork in boxing along with Lomachenko and Gonzalez, he doesn't seem to have power but I'm sure he'll get stoppages along the way with his sheer accuracy and volume,i haven't seen Rosales before but i'd guess he'll take Selby 12 rounds losing a wide UD

Looking forward to seeing Selby again. Interested to see Fred Evans debut as well. I liked watching him as an amateur whenever I got the chance.

Not sure tbh mate. I think he may have had a couple of WSB bouts since then. I know he was banned for an assault or two lol. I'm not sure if he's fought since his ban so it could be his first fight in a long time.

anyone got a running order for this usually like a few pints after work but I'll make sure I'm back for the spike bit if Kennedey Askin's on that. I see theyre doing that silly hour gap in between the tv bits though

no doubt one of those good fights will be on in that hour gap and we have to watch it as a replay later in the night

Kennedy is scheduled for 9pm so yeah it will be shown in delay. No idea why as the ticket is Kennedy vs Askin so don't know why Selby in a mismatch is now the main event.

Looks like Kennedy/Adkins in the gap so sure they'll show it on the main Ch5 part delayed after the Selby fight.

I've been to the Motorpoint. To watch snooker. Used to be a fairly serviceable pub right by it. It's closed now.
