Cox caught a few times in the 2nd. Needs to be a bit more careful.

Personally I think he is a sullen nasty bully. We all know what he did previously and he does not seem in the slightest likeable in his interviews. Hope he gets a right good hiding, I cannot abide any man who raises his hands to a woman

I'm not a fan of Eubank jr but wouldn't mind seeing him give Cox at good hiding at Hearns expense...

I don't really care tbh. I always try to separate the man from the boxer, although sometimes their personality is just too much to overlook (e.g. Broner).

Tonight it is definitely the latter. Not sure what fight Bellew is calling, but Taylor is the only guy landing punches.

In a pub enduring the FA Cup before they switch it over. Hope Cox gets done in. Aside from what's well publicised about him, saying this week he was "ready to detonate bombs" was unbecoming.

Yes, it's common boxing vernacular, but use another turn of phrase.

It's a good job Taylor cant punch worth a fvck...as Cox's defense is absolutely rotten.

Bellew is so biased, you'd think Taylor never lands a punch

I have deleted the comment as the round by round is not the place for it and I realised but not before someone took my post as a quote, but no he was not cleared of everything, just one of the charges from memory

Surprising me a lot that Cox has a big reputation from sparring. Iv watched his previously televised fight on allegedly but thought I must be missing something. I really don't think I am missing anything. He's just very overrated.

Yeah he's often very poor. I think Eubank Jr would hammer him, and I don't rate Eubank Jr very highly.

Let's not row over silly things. Everyone can tell the first 9 pages were before todays event. Let's just be boxing fans who enjoy boxing. Too many silly spats on here at the moment.

It's not just this thread, Wes changes the title of virtually every thread he starts, usually after about 10 pages. I'm sure a mod warned him not to do it, but he is somehow allowed to persist...

Cox was poo again, Taylor had no trouble finding the target, just as well for Jamie's sake he doesn't carry much of a dig, Cox does seem like a bully type of fighter, looks destructible against certain opponents who he hurts early but lacks imagination and a plan B when the opponent doesn't fold, again very careless with the head at times, I know the headclash stopped the fight but Cox wasn't as dangerous as other times ive watched him but its still a problem clearly and one he cant seem to shift, his aggressive style obviously is a factor but for a Commonwealth Games Gold medallist Cox can be crude and very one dimentional

A slow but enjoyable close round for me, Thomas jabbing, but the Rhino walking on looking for bigger shots

Funnily enough I messaged a mate saying I thought bellew had been good. He laid into cox a lot I thought (rightly so). And made similar comments to those on here about him being lucky at the lack of taylor power.
